The truck was dirty. At least the windshield and side windows should have been cleaned. Also the truck only had seatbelts for the driver. NO SEATBELTS FOR THE TWO PASSENGERS!brian K.

My original rental was scheduled for a different location and I received a call 5 minutes prior to the pick up time to tell me that the van was unavailable. I was on the phone with 4 different people and each had a wait time of over 4 minutes. I would not use or recommend u haul after my experience.Lauren L.

Jay was the guy at the desk. He was incredibly rude and unwilling to work with me. There was a mileage error for some reason and he kept blaming me for the error because I didn't have a contract. Since it was a mobile app pick up, I only had the paperwork that came with the keys. He needs to be re-educated on the way uhaul works and when things don't go as planned he should be a little more willing to be helpful instead of blaming me. All was made correct once he called his supervisor, which I kept insisting he do to get the problem fixed. He was reluctant to call for whatever reason, so I kept pushing he call. That is when he called me rude and made unnecessary comments about how the people in this country are rude. I was almost in tears because of the way he treated me. It was the worst uhaul experience I have ever had and I have moved 6 times in 7 years, using uhaul as my transportation company each time. All of my interactions with uhaul employees has been very positive, except this one. This one was a nightmare especially after a long week of packing and moving.Reena N.
Our reservation pickup was changed hours before our pickup time and we had to change plans to accommodate. We were not provided the reservation guarantee and we're not compensated for the $50 guarantee to this date.David G.

I had a great overall experience here at this Uhaul facility. I was in contact with four different employees during my pickup and drop off days. Each employee greeted me and all were friendly. The entire process was smooth with no issues. The next time I need a rental I'll be back to this location and refer my family and friends.CHARLES T.

System was messed up for the 24 hr pick up and I had problems both with pickup AND dropoff. Not sure if fault was on the location or uhaul's app, but had maddening technical problems on both pickup and dropoff.Nic C.

I assumed this location was aware that I was dropping of the truck. After filling the gas up to its proper drop off level, I drove to this location only to be sent to another location because he didn't have any room. Then after going to the second location they also told me they couldn't take it. I then called customer service and was told to drop off at another location. ( Now this was the third one) I then had to add more gas because of course it was under half now not to mention the time it took out of my day.ernesto R.

The trailer was not available when I arrived. The previous customer had not returned it. I was ignored by the employee after he told me this, so I had to ask what I could do. He said I could wait for the previous user to return it or go to another location. I had to drive 20 miles out of my way while the movers waited so I could get a trailer then had to return it to the same location after the move.Robert K.

Only used truck for a total of 26 miles and had to put on 5 gallons of gas...told them it wasn't at 1/2 tank when we got it but they didn't change the contract. Total BSKristin T.
The location is great, because it's only a mile from my house, but the customer service could be better. The location is a gas station, so during the rental process, the person helping me was the only one there so he constantly had to stop working with me and go handle cash register. He also could not answer several questions about the deposit and payment. Luckily I found everything online.BRIAN W.

My pick up time and location was saved several times. I was called over and over I had hired movers who were great but on the day I was moving I had to call the movers 2 times to change times because of uhal too I had my trailer hitch put on my umhal and they left two parts off the hitch that I had to pick up the day of the move from Riellys out partalex C.

The truck was not topped off with fuel when I rented it, the gauge said full but it wasn't topped off. When i returned truck after 29 miles of freeway driving i added 3 gallons of gas. at there gas station, based on the truck getting 10 mpg via literature from Uhaul. The rental company told me I needed to go back out to top off tank, it took another 6 gallons of gas. Overall I paid for 9 gallons of gas to go 29 miles, a complete rip off. I think as soon as I left the rental company they removed the topped off gas for personal use. Not trust worthy people and I am now concerned about using my credit card with them.BRUCE R.

My original contract stated I could pickup the trailer at the El Cajon location on El Cajon Blvd (Bob's Bottle Shop). The day before I was scheduled to pick it up I got a call from U-Haul Res Services saying the closest pick up would be in Clairmont Mesa on Convey St, 20 miles from my house !!. I found the trailer I rented on Sweetwater Springs Blvd In Spring Valley, 3 miles from my house The gentlemen at this location gave excellent service. However, the rest of the U-Haul experience was lousy. It seems like correct customer service would be to transfer the trailer from Convoy St to the the original contracted location. That is Customer Service !!.Terry B.

The process for returning the truck was horrible. The location had only one employee working and he was very busy between the uhaul rentals and the gas station customers. When I arrived, he was working with a customer to rent a trailer. After about 20 Minutes he has a queue of other customers who he chose to check out even though I was there first. He had trouble with the computer system, as it was forcing a check in time of 6am, rather than 6pm, and wanted to charge for 2 days of rental (vs the 2 hours I actually had the vehicle). As he worked through troubleshooting the computer problems he continued to stop and take other customers for gas/cigarettes/lottery/etc. I waited about 45 Minutes before he finally said he couldn't fix it and would email me the next day. So today I got the email and they have unfortunately charged me an additional $10 for pads which were not used or opened. Upon receipt I contacted the location and they said they had no way to refund the $10 unless I physically drove back there to get cash. I suggested they just refund the card or send a check but she said they had no way to do that. It was their mistake, but she offered no solution other than me driving back to where I got the rental in the first place. Extremely disappointed with the process.jacklyn P.
