The Uhaul was clean except upon pick up in Springfield, IL the check engine light was on. I contacted Uhual and they directed me to drive to another location where upon arrival, they told me that they didn't have a truck to give me. I had to contact roadside assistance and they instructed me to drive the truck anyways and if it breaks down, to call them back. Clearly I was NOT happy considering I had a three hour drive. Uhaul needs to start maintaining there vehicles better.

We had a very challenging time getting our uhaul. The experience took at least an hour of our already busy day. We had two different reservations and I told them this and they still gave us the wrong keys. We did finally get it figured out , but it required additional help from outside the store. The Uhaul itself leaked and when we got to our destination all of our boxes and our mattress were wet on the bottom.

Thomas VInside of truck floor was muddy. Back of truck had not been swept out. The truck itself needs to have the front end aligned and or the front tire balanced. The steering wheel shook quite a bit when braking. For an Illinois to Florida trip this was not the ideal truck to have. I was supposed to pick this truck up from the South 6th Street location in Springfield which was nearest my former home. A few days before the pickup we were told we had to pick it up at the West Monroe location which was many miles further north than the original location.
