I opted for mobile check in. The location of the ID number on the truck according to the app was different to where it was actually located. Retrieving the key from the lockbox was not a problem. When I turned on the truck the check engine light was on and it only had a little over a quarter tank of gas. The app required me to take pictures and I tried about 3 or 4 times but it was not saving the pictures. When I went inside there was no one to be found. There was only a piece of paper saying they would be right back and in the meantime call Dom with a number. I decided to make the executive decision to take my own pictures with my phone and proceed to my destination. The truck ran fine and I put gas in it. Upon arrival back to Uhaul I took another set of pictures with my own phone again and, I’m presuming, Dom was there this time. I told him about the app not working and he said it was not a problem. Still, something needs to be fixed with the app. All in all, in the future I would not rent from this location again.
