The lady at TLC was less than personable. The whole U-Haul process was horrible. The amount of information that is expected is outrageous, the only thing they didn't ask for was a blood sample. Would not recommend it to anyone.

I hooked it up my self they did not check lights with appeared I had two lights out from other people who rented it I had to resolve so I was not charged I was a very un happy customer I had to sweep it out before I used it and I cleaned the inside prior to drop off

The check-in process was horrible. Took more than an hour even though I had checked in on-line the previous evening. I still had to give the counter person all of the information again and she just rolled her eyes when I told her I had checked in on-line. Then the contract that I had confirmed the previous evening on-line was not the contract that she had on her computer. I had requested the truck for seven days and she said I could only have it for four days and she didn't have the correct miles that I had specified. She ended up calling a representative in Denver, but that person took forever to sort everything out, and then the contract wouldn't print correctly in Sterling, so the person in Denver had to print it, scan it, and email it to Sterling for me to sign. This is the third truck I have rented from U-Haul in the last three months, and every time there was no point to doing the on-line check in because the people helping me had to get everything new again from me at the counter. And the information they had was always different from what I specified when I placed the order and verified when I did the on-line order. Also, this place in Sterling would not buy back my unused boxes. So it appears U-Haul has some false advertising going on regarding this if every location will not buy back unused boxes.

The electrical harness that came with the trailer had been jury-rigged by some previous renter of the trailer and the U-Haul location did not have any connectors that could help me get hooked up. I ended up spending $34.15 at an AutoZone store for hook up connectors. Only $20 of that would have been needed if the wiring provided with the trailer had been correct.

I received the truck with sand in front on the drivers side. The rental was a mess because the time requested was not what was entered online for pick-up. The lady at the front desk treated me as if it was my fault the pick up time was incorrect. I received a receipt showing I returned the truck with 1/2 a tank of gas and it was full so I called and they said they are adjusting it. My overall experience was an unorganized mess and I did not have the most friendly customer service.

The person that helped us was friendly and got the checkout info prepared. After signing the documents I was directed to the U-Haul which was a dual axle 6'x12' trailer. There was no way that I or my friend could lift the tongue. We went back inside to ask for help. A person was sent out and with his help we got it on the hitch. We didn't get the brake set up properly and I didn't know this until I arrived at the return location.

My boyfriend is the one who picked the U-haul up and he said he had a very poor experience with the person behind the counter. Apparently she was a little "short" with him, almost rude and was also argumentative! I'd like to think she was just having a bad day, however, as someone who has worked in Customer Service for a long time, there really is no excuse for that kind of behavior! Just wanted to let you know. Thanks

We picked up the uhaul loaded it and drove about 90 miles to find out that there was a bent wheel. Luck for us a nice gentleman pulled up beside us to let us know that the wheel was wobbiling. We found a uhaul dealer in Fort Collins who was nice enough to pull a wheel off of one of there trailers and put it on ours. Very frustrating.

James Conour the Dealer, gave me an extremely dirty truck, when I brought it to his attention he said that I didn't not have to return it clean, When I got to my the house to start loading up the truck, there was a dolly for which James charged me without my knowledge or agreement. The AC went off and only blew hot air, we had a 3 month old baby in the cabin with us, I called road side assistance and was made to travel 5 and 1/2 hours completely out of our way to Flagstaff and when we got to the AC repair shop, it was closed even though we got there 16 minutes prior to the agreed upon time to be there.

Get someone that is qualified to do the job! I left with a 14 foot truck and transport and when I returned the transport no record of me renting it! What!!!!!really....then I return the truck with the gas that was in the truck that the jerk said he would correct when we got the truck and surprise it was not corrected. So I pay $80 for gas that I didn't owe and returned a transport that was never rented to me and paid for the darn thing. I did the right thing.....I would expect nothing less from U-Haul.??

Although I did not request nor receive a dolly, TLC noted on the contract that I did. I had to explain this multiple times when I returned the trailer and found out what they did. I am still receiving calls from U-haul about the dolly I never had. Annoying to say the least. I probably would have caught it on the paperwork when I signed but it was in code...didn't say "dolly"

I placed my order on line did not want the insurance they had my husband put on. And to top it off it was 75.00 . I will never rent from this place again. Made reservations for weekend had to cancel . No place to pick up on weekends unless i drove 69 miles. Then had to make new one for Monday . After employer said it would be ok to come 2 days later. My husbamd hooked trailer up himself.

They need to help the customer more, they should walk around the vehicle before signing it out and letting the customer see the gas gauge before signing that that is where it is at. I rented a trailer and had to hook it up and check all the lights myself the last time I rented from them.

I was not impressed that as part of my order I was supposed to have 24 furniture pads available for pick up but when I got to the location they only had 3 for me. This was really annoying as I then had to go buy a number of cheap blankets from Walmart to replace the lack of pads!

The U-haul Guarantee that was sent to me promised my rental on the 26th. TLC Automotive was closed...I lost a whole day of moving time due to this. When I went to pick up my U Haul, the lady, Chris, swore up and down all she had was 10 foot trucks...She additionally stated that U Haul didn't have 20 foot trucks (which I had reserved online)...She had NO product knowledge whatsoever!!! I TOTALLY wasted 1/2 of the day on the 27th just going back and forth with her on the size of the truck. Also, they do not carry moving blankets so I had to do without!!!! A truly bad experience....I had driven 5.5 hours to move my Mother In-law only to be shorted a day and a half of time..I would NOT recommend TLC in Sterling, CO again!!! The truck was dirty and so were the grounds (property) around the facility. Dog poop EVERYWHERE!!!! I do not see how U Haul would provide this place with the award plaques they had hanging on their wall! The events at the pick up place mad an already stressful time even more stressful!!!
