Paul Edinger was very accommodating and very helpful with assisting me to hook up the 6x12 trailer that I rented for the weekend of 10/5. Also, I had ordered a 5 x 8 trailer and the young lady I spoke to was able to get me into a larger trailer for the price of a 5 x 8. There were no 5 x 8 trailers available. Paul was excellent. Pleasant, polite, and very helpful. Although after reviewing my bill, I notice and 'coverage' charge of $14.00, which I hope wasn't for insurance, because you have signed copies of waivers, but all in all a very good experience.

The whole process of signing up took too much time. I had to repeat my address and phone # 3 times. When the location I wanted didn't have the item I wanted I was slated for a pick up 35 minutes away. later I identified a more convenient place and called up to reschedule my location. Yet the day before I find out my pick up place was still 35 minutes away. I called and was able to identify a place only 5 minutes away from my preferred place. In all I made 6-7 calls to get things arranged to my satisfaction.

When originally calling the WInd Gap location on Sullivan Trail I was advised $39.95 for the trip plus mileage rate charges. I was NOT advised that I would be called to pick up at another location and I was allowed at no extra fee to return to Effort, PA location. Then on Thursday I received a call not to go to WInd Gap rather Stroudsburg not within my original hours anticipated to work around my job and that 50 free miles were included. So, now when I showed up to pay I was out approx. $150 not $39.95 plus mileage. You need to better educate the WInd Gap office because this expense far exceeded what I was told in my original confirmation. I had no choice but to rent this vehiicle for my needs and the Stroudsburg office was amazingly nice about the entire transition and apologized for the wrong info but they never presented the wrong info. I would use them in the future BUT NOT Wind Gap.

I schedule a pick up at a different location but then had to drive 30mins to a different location to get my uhaul, plus change my time that I had scheduled. What I should do instead of having your customer drive far out they why. Have one of your worker delivery a Uhaul to the customer distance. This was the worst experience I ever had.

I made my reservation 6 weeks before I needed the 20 foot moving truck. Three days before I was scheduled to pick up the moving truck I get an email and voicemail saying they can no longer accommodate my reservation. They tell me that I can be "accommodated" at another location which was 8 miles out of the way. So not only did I have to pay for extra mileage and gas I was sent completely out of my way and U-Haul could have cared LESS. Amika was very rude and unprofessional when I called about my reservation twice! She was not helpful at all and did not have any regard for how inconvenient this was for me. Her excuse was that someone else who used the truck before me dropped it off at a different location. So I was the one who had to suffer the consequences of someone else's actions? Some how that does not seem right to me. You talk all about how your company keeps your promises. I will NEVER use this company again nor will I EVER recommend this company to any of my friends or family members. I am very disappointed with my experience and will be seeking the appropriate actions to make sure my voice is heard. I have used U-Haul every single time I have moved and I get more and more disappointed every time. I AM DONE and will be reporting you to the Better Business Bureau. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!

This dealer is the best, friendliest, all round Uhaul 5 Star location. What Uhaul can do, is, make sure that traffic is attentive to this locations needs and their customers, if it means routing a certain size truck there with a few days notice, and not making their customers go several miles out of the way. This dealer always goes the extra to try and accommodate, and is mostly successful.
