I was charged 241.00 with a holding fee of 100.00, the employee saidnInshould contact younguys to see about getting a refund because he believes I was overcharged. We used the truck and we used it just for 4 kilometers but we were charged 141 and with 100 dollar holding fee it came to 241.00. Was just wondering if it could be looked into, Indo have the receipt.

We arrived home with the truck. We had help to start loading only to find a UHaul lock on the loading door. After several phone calls to customer service and road side assistance , finally a decision was made to have lock cut off. It took 6 hours for them to arrive. We lost our help for loading. We were only granted a refund of $50 and no charge for the extra day. We do not feel this was adequate compensation for the stress and extra work we had to do. We need to do another move in a few weeks and would appreciate a discount on this next rental or we will find another rental company. Would appreciate hearing from you. The service at the pickup location was slow, personnel did not seem very familiar with the software for the rental. How did they do their checks of vehicle and miss that a lock remained on the back door?
The lady I initially picked up the truck from, was pleasant and kind. The man I spoke with at drop off was arrogant and rude. (Amit Parmar) I would not rent or recommend rental from this location as long as this person is working there. He did not explain anything, he was annoyed when I asked to pay with a debit card and would not allow me to have a paper receipt.. "it will be mailed" was all he kept repeating. I was charged $55.00 more than he quoted (to my credit card) but had to wait on hold for 20 minutes to find out why, and that it will be adjusted after a few business days. This should have been explained when settling the bill on site. Very irritated and frustrated with this level of service.
Problems with dealers not being able to find booking on their systems. At both pickup and drop off dealers has to call home to get reservation information.
Location rented my reservation out to any customer when it clearly indicated my name on the reservation. Was given a $50 credit and had to wait til the next day to get my vehicle of choice. I'm from out of town so I had to book a hotel room for the night. Once I received my rental which was a pickup truck with a hitch and ball. Well, I drove out to my location to tow my two trailers and the 2â€ ball was removed from the truck and then I had to drive 75 Kms to pick up a 2â€ ball and after all this running around. When I returned the vehicle the representative was so rude and could care less about me as he served other customers and dismissed me. Furthermore, I missed my 7pm reservation on the chichimaun ferry. I had to stay in an another hotel for the night. $197 hotel and $155 hotel charge cause my reservation was given away to another customer. I received his U-Haul receipt and it still had my name and contact info on the receipt. Not too impressed to say the least.
I booked the truck rental in the start of the week and when sunday came i called an hour before to see if they might of brought the truck back early and they rented out my truck and did not call me, she had to cancel another appointment and gave me a cargo van instead (i was okay with but still was not the pickup truck i reserved) and when i got in the van there was receipts everywhere, tim hortons cups in the back, USED KLENEX'S IN THE SIDE OF THE DOOR ASWELL AS A MASK NEXT TO THE SEAT, completely irresponsible due to this corona virus outbreak, which shows me the truck was not cleaned or sanitized before they gave me the keys, im not saying the person before me had the virus, but its the fact they could of potentially allowed the virus to spread. They also told me that i could drop off the key at 8 before the store closes or i could wait until they open the next day (due to the fact uhaul buisness hours are 9-5)pm, and when i got there they told me i was red flagged and would have to pay an extra day(late fee) Completely irresponsible and situations like this CANNOT happend. i understand it is not uhauls fault, but it makes me unsure if this is the procces in other stores... i will never be renting another vehicle from that location or recommending their store. I hope there is a follow up with the store on there cleaning policy. (I have all pictures showing the state of the cargo van when i first picked it up)
Pay attention to the customer nor your fucking cell phone and properly inform people of all charges including that you are charging $5 if you use a credit card which is a fucking ridiculous charge you money grabbing motherfuckers.
The uhaul representative we spoke to on pick up was amazing. We tried to do online check in but after 15 minutes of waiting for approval for an online agent to check our ID we had to go in to get our reservation which was a very long ordeal because the system said our self serve reservation was in process and would not allow her to finalize it. She was very friendly though. When we returned the uhaul we had to return the dolly rented as well. We locked it in the truck and told the attendant that it was there. He said we had to bring it into the shop ourselves. After explaining the door was locked and we had already dropped our key in the drop box he tossed me the drop box key and told me I had to bring it inside. After bringing it inside he then told us we couldn't park it in a parking spot and we had to bring it to the alley even though we dropped it off exactly where we picked it up. All of this while waiting for him to finish with customers so again a simple ordeal turned into a half an hour ordeal. With the whole online ordeal on pick up that took over 45 mins to pick up our van which should have been quick as advertised online. Our only bright side was the first attendant who helped us out when the online reservation system was not working for us. She went above and beyond to make sure we had our equipment.

Truck needed oil change and no windshield washer fluid. No fault of location but I filled out all my info on line and then the location had to re enter everything. Pick up should have been quicker if not for that
Make it more accessible for those that do not have credit cards or even a phone to download the app. 1) At first I gave my MasterCard, she said it would not be accepted (as most MasterCards did not work she said) 2) I had to use my data overage to download the link Get back to cash payments, or even debit payments and manual paper work. Quite a hassle. Fair Prices though and quick service, but just the process was not for elderly who do not own a phone, or for those that only have debit cards. I understand it is for insurance reasons, but make some compromise.
The truck dashboard is indicating that an oil change is needed. Apparently it's been on for awhile. That should be taken care of,as I would hate for someone to have the truck breakdown due to neglect on uhauls part.
Unfortunately, the lady did not inform me of the insurance component. But in the end she added it to the total rental charges. I believe the renter should be made aware of the insurance charges before its added.
trailer was broken. I was picking up a classic car so had my whole toolset with me, and we had driven 6 hours to pickup the trailer and car. I needed to spend an hour repairing the trailer as there were no others in town. Completely unacceptable.
The mileage was wrong so I hope there will be no more charges on my card.

paid for a dolly wanted one that could help with large freezer this type not good paid for it and did not use it. next time they should ask what type of dolly you need??/
The entire experience was a head ache. Found another, more reliable company to rent from for future use.

It is VERY hard to navigate on the website!! It is NOT "user friendly"!! You can NOT complete your reservation on line, and MUST call to reserve your trailer! U-Haul also told us to return the trailer 40 minutes away from our final destination!! We then HAD to call to change locations!! The new location was still 20 minutes away!! We found it VERY frustrating!! It ALSO said on our confirmation email, that all expenses were in US funds!! So, I called again to make SURE the total bill was in Canadian funds!! PLEASE update your website!!!

Uhaul worker does not understand the uhaul Renting process, was unable to properly explain to customer. Customer was charged twice for the price of the uhaul.
