Same, Horrible treatment of customer and fraudulent charges. I will never use your service again for how I was treated. I return the 16 foot trunk will the proper amount of gas and cleaned. Your Holland rd store charged me without speaking to me.
This is the 4th time using this location and they always had my equipment ready, This time the gas was full which made it even better. Slight damage on side of U-haul and the rep quickly came out put stickers on it and put into contract. She was very helpful and the process was smooth and expedient. Thank you so much! Will definitey use this location again.
Reserved 26 foot truck and was told it was not available in Suffolk VA. Customer Service Rep listed Winchester VA as return. I corrected and told her Stephens City VA. she said she could not find Stephens City and would leave it open. It was not left open and Stephens City would not accept the truck causing my husband to drive to the next city. I have further complaints but do not have 30 minutes to stay on hold.
We were told our utility trailer had a pull out ladder to put the lawnmower on we were hauling. It DID NOT. We made it work with what we had.
Only had 3 or 4 parking spots with 1 handicap and those where filled with employees vehicles. The rest of the parking lot is rock with holes for water to accumulate and it was raining so when I walked to and from the office/van I rented I couldn't avoid all the water holes. The vans were parked so close together I had to enter the van I rented from the passenger side in the rain. The pick up and drop off area blocks anyone who may need to enter to pick up anything from their storage unit. Again, wearing gloves at this time is important but if your associate isn't going to change them and wash their hands between check in and check out there is no point. Just saying....thank you.
Teach employees about customer service. Do not rent trucks with broken windshield wipers and at 60 mph shakes and vibrates like you have a flat tire.

At the time of rental, we weren't told where to park when we bought the truck back. We had to go back to the truck to pull up at the office.

The sales representative charged me a $ 15 gas charge, but I returned the truck with gas. Took pictures, disputed it & they still wouldnâ€™t remove. My total $272.00 No I WAS NOT HAPPY.
I was told everything was ok and we could leave. Then they my charge my bank card
The u haul was nice and we used it to move furniture to our new home. Heather was super nice in the rental office but we had expected blankets inside & there were none. We had to use tarps & our good bedspreads so that was a little disappointing.
Train the service provider in some basic customer service skills. She displayed an attitude that was perceived as less than acceptable; not even an occasional smile - during pick-up and drop-off. Her whole demeanor was interpreted as if she was "doing me a favor by letting me rent her truck". Because of my schedule, I tolerated the service, but never will I choose U-Haul again based on this one bad experience. I'm sure U-Haul will do just fine without my help. Thank you.
Reservation was made online for a 7:00 a.m. pickup - which happens to be the time the office is scheduled to be open. No one was there at 7:00, 7:05, 7:10, 7:15 and I finally resorted to calling the manager's phone number as listed on the office exterior. No one answered my first call so I left a message. I didn't receive a call back so at 7:20 I tried the manager's (Heather) number again, waking her. She told me she would call right back which she did stating that the responsible employee was on their way. Finally, at 7:25 the individual showed up. It took a while for her to park, get in the building, boot up the computer, etc. Time sensitivity is apparently not uppermost on their priority list. I would have liked to sleep in and arrive late too. However, I was expecting a delivery and needed that cargo van at the scheduled time. It was a rough start to the day. Leave yourself extra time before you REALLY need the equipment...renter beware!
Make sure the information that the customer inputs online matches the information that is in your system. This cuts down on waiting time for both the customer and the business after all time is money. Moving can be a frustrating event and having the process to flow as smoothly as possible assists in reduction of stress levels. Usually a customer service representative does a walk around the Uhaul vehicle to document and or ensure that there is no damage to the rental vehicle and the renter has to sign off that they are in agreement, that did not happen this time, perhaps your policy changed???? It would have been nice if the clerk had come out to inspect truck with me as it had some â€œbruisesâ€ I was concerned about before we left. The add pictures on the link was helpful however.
