I tried the online service to pick up my truck rental. I thought it would save some time, but the whole process actually took allot longer than actually going directly into the office and checking out with an associate. You still had to get the key to the truck from them anyway. Was totally pointless and a big waste of time.

The local location did an outstanding job considering I had to wait until 5pm to get my rental that was supposed to be picked up at 8am, due to the computer system was supposedly down. The local location needs to be able to go old school and do paper contract instead of making the customer wait for hours for the computer to come back up.

Everything was great but I didn't appreciate getting charged for 2 gallons of gas. I made sure that gauge was the same as when I picked it up but isn't exactly something I could argue about. I could see if it was distinct difference but it was not.

They worked with me in pushing pick time several times. They were nice and professional over phone and in person. I was trying figure out milage and had a budget and tried work within and had change a few things which was difficult in doing so i feel they were busy and forgot how to explain drop off procedure. I was told before next business day yet form said 10pm after i called to get instructions on drop of which put a time crunch and stress..it was raining the whole time..complete mess ..longer load and unload and driving w caution. When i finally got all done and rushed for the 10pm instead 7am things got worse. Filling it up and the app for dropping off did not work. I had to call customer service and in the rain stay on phone for around 45 min. It was very frustrating..the app wouldnt let me put right milage..then trying take pic of milage wouldnt load..i took over 5 times it was so crazy..then after waiting on hold w one phone customer service and other for picture they finally just processed the check in on phone..they said i had call office make sure it was closed for 10pm and not early morning check in. Was also unsure if i parked in correct drop off area which wasnt explained..A lot hassel dropping off after hours..

I had arranged my truck rental online however when I called two days prior to my move to confirm pick up I was told there was not going to be a truck available at my pick up time or location. I was sent over 20 miles away to pick up the truck. I had reserved a utility dolly and 12 blankets. There was no utility dolly available at the location I was sent to and there were only 6 blankets. The agent at the location of my requested pick up said I should have realized if I read my agreement that this was only a preferred location and time and not guaranteed. I had already arranged to get a ride to pick up the truck in the morning and had hired movers through the uhaul site to arrive at a set time. If I had not called to confirm I would not have had a truck and would have had movers at my place with nothing to load into. A disaster. Thankfully I called ahead but I will not use u-haul again. Too much stress involved in moving and not having a definite time/date leaves too many uncertainties and adds to the chaos. I was able to get the truck a day earlier and they did give me extra mileage for having to travel quite a distance to pick up the truck but if I hadn't called ahead I don't know what I would have done on moving day.

Prices for a local short move were mos quoted. I feel the $19.95 rate is a hook to get you in then there all of these "a la cart" charges...I can't believe I paid UHaul $57 to pick up a piece of furniture valued at $75. Had I known this before hand I would have just waited and used my father-in-law's pick up truck = $25 for gas. Never again, apparently your service are only good for moving across state line with a one-way drop. Highly dissatisfied.

You need better a/c for your office! It isn't able to keep up on hot days. The staff also had a fan blowing and on return the staff person had deodorant that wasn't able to keep up. Please help them out--its a physical job. They were all nice and helpful though.
