The trailer was parked in a very tight spot, almost inaccessible. The salesperson did not pull it out and left the area so we couldn't ask. We had to go back into the office to find him to ask questions about the trailer. He refused to help us hook up, stating that there was a $30 fee to hook up and a $20 fee to unhook the trailer. When I told him I had been renting for years at multiple locations, and had in the past 2 months rented over 8 times and never heard of this fee, nor seen it online when confirming my rental, he stated "I have worked here for 10 years and there is always a fee! Maybe you should look online closer." I was appalled at this but had to leave so hooked up. This trailer had a different locking mechanism, but I figured it out. Then I had to ask my nephew to help check if the lights were working (which he has never done before) and we left. I called the 1-800 # and confirmed that the salesperson was lying about the hook up charge. There is no such thing! He must have seen 2 women renting and thought he could make some cash. I wonder how many more people they have done this too.
