I had a reservation at 9am to pick up the truck. I waited till 925 till someone showed up. Th online process was not friendly a there was a long lag in emails from UHual to verify my account and pick up the true via app. I got the emails around 1130 am.
Fakher GMini Maxi provided an easy pickup and dropoff for the Uhaul van. Not to mention, I called twice with random questions, speaking with 2 different people, both were excellent in addressing exactly what I asked and were very nice.
Chad CThe truck was old and struggled to shift under 4,000 rpm’s. I was given the truck with 1/4 tank of gas and was trying to return it before the facility closed whereby I was told I would be charged $20 if late. I used the truck a total of 37 miles but didn’t get a chance to top off back to 1/4 tank. I figured I would be charged a premium for a few gallons so no big deal. Instead I was told there would be a $30 reuel fee and was also charged $33 for 6 gallons of gas which is well above returning to 1/4 tank. I was told this was in the contract but was never told about the refuel convenience fee. Well UHaul I hope you enjoy the extra $63 because I will never rent from your unscrupulous company again and will share this story with anyone renting equipment. Obviously it’s purposeful that you give the rental at 1/4 tank for just this reason.
Aaron WI got a huge rash across my neck/chest from the seat belt....recommend disinfecting seats and common areas. Other than that, customer service and availability was great!
