The truck battery dies 3 times before they replaced the truck with another one acknowleding that the battery was finished & suggested I use roadside assistance while travelling all the way to Toronto if the problem arose again. In the end they provided another truck, but this stuff should have benn tested & ready to go when a customer with a reservation arrives.

No vehicle was available at the area I chose months in advance when they called 2 days prior… drove an hour to pick up the U-Haul. Was supposed to pick up the U-Haul at 11:30am, the previous person did not return it until 3pm. Smelt like cigarettes within the driving area. The vehicle was left with 7miles to empty. Terrible service all around. I would not recommend using U-Haul to anyone.
AUSTIN QWhen I first did my booking online, I was supposed to pick up my 10ft truck at New Liskeard Esso. A few days later I received an email from U-Haul saying that my pick up point had been switched to New Liskeard Petro for 10 a.m on Aug 3rd. When I showed up there for the pick up, they told me that they didn't have any trucks there because they have no room to keep them and that I would have to pick up at New Liskeard Esso. It's not far to go from one place to the other, but it's something that would need to be cleared up. Service was very good at the New Liskeard Esso location.
