Was not given a printout or my receipt. My truck DID NOT have a ramp and only seated 2. I was expecting a ramp and 3 seats in the front. This is not necessarily the locations fault but should be something that is clear on Uhauls website.

Something was wrong with the driver side door. It was very hard to close. The steering wheel appears to be mounted crooked so when driving straight ahead, it's cock-eyed. There were empty bottles behind the seats and a "do rag" left behind. But my biggest problem is the moving helpers I had hired through your company stiffed me at 9pm the night before my move saying they weren't coming because I was too far away from them. I had texted them during the afternoon to button down a time but they finally responded at about 9pm with the news that they were not coming


I was hired to drive the truck for a person who has become my friend, we had an excellent experience and had no troubles with our venture. A GPS in the truck would have been helpful but it was not necessary and would probably have increased the cost.

On contract it's stated that 100 miles was included when we rented the truck it was not deducted when we paid for the truck at the end and I feel that that's misleading the customer and it's a horrible thing when you have to put $100 out of your pocket when you're told something is included and it's in writing right in front of you and then you try to dispute it but you're told hey go around the corner to U Haul they'll just add on more money really a horrible experience with renting the truck From this location very unfair and very misleading to your customers shame on you

Dropped keys and truck off but key lock was broken.felt a tad bit reluctant to leave key but I had no other choice i had to be at work 6am the next morning and didn't have anYone to drive me back to my car. Fix your lock


While the propoieter was courteous and accomdating, the login process was far from simple. I spent time to fill out the express check-in on the website, but when I arrived, I was unable to just sign and drive. The agent had to call tech support to process my reservation, I wasted an extra 20 min.

I asked for dollys on line but when i got there they only had hand trucks....i think if location doesn't offer certain equipment u shouldnt be able to chk it off online otherwise staff was great and it was a good experience. ...

First, I had to wait 45 minutes to pick up the truck as the system was not taking any information. I was told the computer froze. I stood there 45 minutes wasting my time. This went on and on. At one point, he said I could not have the vehicle for insurance purposes. I asked him to contact the main office for assistance. The truck had low air pressure in the tires. That was visible on the screen when I first got in the vehicle. I had to drop the vehicle off without anyone avaialable to do an inspection until Monday morning. I received my invioce on Monday and was changed a fuel fee. I put over the amount of fuel in before I returned the vehicle and took a picture of the fuel and odometer just for this purpose. I had to contact the manager and he did a second look at the gas gauge and found it to be over the 3/4 of a tank. HOW CAN YOU RUN AN OPERATION LIKE THIS. I will not use UHaul again.


Jane was very helpful. She represents you very well. Marshall Mn location is a different story, he was rude and unhelpful.


I reserved a u-haul nearly three weeks ahead of the date needed, and the u-haul was to be picked up in Sioux Falls, SD. Less than 36 hours before pick up time, I received a call saying that there were no trucks available in Sioux Falls,and I would need to pick the truck up in Pipestone, MN which is 50 miles away from Sioux Falls. I was incredibly disappointed in a system that confirms a reservation and then calls only a day before pickup and says that the truck is actually not available as confirmed.


With the amount of driving I did with the U-Haul, i should have only had to put $5 maybe %10 worth of gas. So I put $10 into it, and checked the gas gauge. It barely moved. I tried pulling the key out, turning it all the way forward, even starting it; the gas gauge would barely move. This continued from $5, to $10, all the way up to $40. I checked the gauge every $5. When I finally reached $40, I said 'screw it' and took off to return the U-Haul. A couple minutes down the road, the gas gauge when from a little under half (which is where i needed to be) to all the way full. Thanks, U-Haul. You guys got an extra $30 in gas from me. Unless I receive something for this, I will never use U-Haul again nor will I recommend it to a friend.


I utilized this location as an alternative due to nothing available in my location (Brookings, SD). I did appreciate the extra day/miles at no charge but we did have the extra expense of fuel for the additional 50miles. Not a deal breaker but did make a difference cost wise. I would likely shop around in the future prior to having that expense and hassle of arranging another location pick up.
