The UHaul was correctly booked but when I tried to use the app to pick it up (had ordered the U-Haul for pickup and hour and a half before the location opened) it told me to call in to customer service. Upon calling in they told me that they (not sure if that. Meant the location or U-Haul in general) had not set up the early pickup up correctly. After about 30 min on the phone I was rebooked at the next closest location that had the equipment available (but unfortunately didn’t have the dolly, etc that I had also requested). I was moving my daughter with the city into a new apartment, for which we had to book the move window. This 1.5 hr total delay meant we lost half the 3 hr move window and meant I had to pay an additional fee to extend the move window (the apartment hires additional security for move ins). While UHaul did offer to refund $50, that didn’t cover the additional $100 I had to pay, nor the added pain in the but this caused. I’ve been very happy with U-Haul in the past but this time it was a bad experience.

The pick up process was incredibly broken. I had selected counter pickup during the booking, however when I arrived, the attendant was not able to help knew nothing about the pickup process. It was not until I spoke to 3 different people at Uhaul and nearly an hour of my time, that I was able to leave with the vehicle. Incredibly frustrating and very disappointing customer experience.
David AAwful customer service in store. Refused to help to me was told me to call or go online for help. Truck had garbage in cab wasn’t cleaned out. I will never use this location again. I will be leaving a zero star review on google.
