The guy running the front was knowledgeable and helpful I like their small but diverse selection of refreshments and snacks. Though he was unable to complete the reservation because I was paying with Visa debit in store he directed me to the U-Haul app which then I had to connect to customer service to complete the reservation so that I could both pay with my Visa debit and do the pick up through the mobile app. Corporate does need to provide consistency in payment options and how they are accepted in their smaller franchise businesses, through the U-Haul app and through U-Haul customer service. They probably have lost a lot of business with the impatience that comes from having to explore all avenues to finally get the achieve payment method as described on the company website. Due to my circumstances I had to complete multiple reservations over the last 3 days and availability was limited to the corporate location over the weekend but yesterday I was lucky to be able to pick up the truck from million cart convenience. I had my method of payment saved and had no problem booking my reservation over the weekend at the corporate location however on the app when booking at this location my card was no longer accepted. I was desperate because U-Haul is one of the few places that I can complete a rental late at night and use Visa debit as my method of payment. There are many others who would have just chosen to go with a different company if they were not in the same position I was last night. One thing is the pickup and return though using the mobile pickup option had to be done between business hours which could lose business opportunities that the mobile app would provide through their 24-hour Self Serve option it worked out for me last night because I ended up going longer than my reservation time and dropping the truck off before reservations would have started the following day but much later than expected. The app charged me for the additional day however I just came to the realization that the convenience store reduced My overall bill for the extra day because it it was still returned before they were renting it out. I truly appreciate them helping me out at a time when I have really needed a win. Thank you millioncart convenience, definitely try to use this location in the future though they have a small supply of trucks they have a big Supply of customer service.
