Cost for mileage was outrageous. Seems like a hidden fee.
Thomas WThe van was low on air in the tires and needed an oil change. Also the van had no windshield wiper fluid. Dropping the van off, there were no instructions given. And had to park in the middle of the lane way. Then got a call from u-haul at 1:00 AM saying the truck was blocking someones personal car, but i had returned the keys so I couldn’t do anything about that.
Farah KPickup was very difficult. The app didn’t work and we were unable to complete our check in. We waited outside in the cold for 20 minutes looking for someone to help us. Staff were standing around the entire time and didn’t identify themselves or offer help, despite us clearly being customers looking for help. We thought they were other customers. Only after asking someone plowing the lot for help did he point out the employees, who had been standing next to us the entire time. Upon returning the truck, we were told not to complete the self checkout and instead to just leave the truck running with the keys inside. What’s the use of the self serve method when it wasn’t used for either pickup or drop off?
Lily HDid not get the equipment we reserved and had the pickup location changed on us to across the city. Very poor service out in the cold. Lots of people backed up waiting for trucks. Will not be using U-Haul again.
