Wash the uhaul trucks

Avoid this shady location. When dropping off truck I asked agent to check everything. He said not necessary. I asked for a receipt. He said it would be emailed. I never received an email. I had a bad feeling so I took pictures. My gut feeling was right. I didn't get an email receipt so I called the toll free central uhaul number. They informed me this shady location charged a $20 cleaning fee. After the agent contacted this facility the response was the fee was due to unfolded blankets. Out of 12 blankets 3 or 4 were unfolded. $20 charge for that. I hope uhaul cancels their contract. If you look up the reviews you see several reviews confirming the routine shady charges by this terrible location. I also hope they will investigate and fine this fraudulent business

The gentleman working at the counter did not know what to do and had to call someone else the lack of communication was horrible also the truck was not clean on the inside there was still material from a previous move and packing blankets we're not in the bag they were just laying all over the truck in my opinion the places that rent U-Hauls that are not dedicated to U-Haul are the worst

Person at the counter did not know what type of trails hitch I needed or was on the Truck I rented. The truck tha t was promised to to me was change to a truck that could not tow my boat. The mirror on the right side of the truck was frozen and could not be adjusted, I had to drive without using the right side mirror. Keep in mind 25 years ago I used to be a Truck Mechanic for U-Haul in San Francisco. The truck I rented had no wall around inspection. The U-Haul dealer in Modesto I will give A+ / 100 %

The furniture dolly I reserved was not in the U Haul, and I was still charged for it. I experienced a major delay because the engine low oil light was on, and the location would not offer assistance, so I had to find a ride to the auto parts store, purchase oil, and fill the truck up. Because of this delay I returned the truck late and was charged for 2 rental periods, including for the furniture dolly that wasn't there. Overall this was a horrible experience, and will make me think twice about renting any U Haul in the future.

I have returned the trailer on 12th July at around 6PM but in the final receipt I have got the return date as 13th July 12.45PM. Even though I was not charged anything but the return date should 12th.

My reservation was cancelled because I was 1 hour late. I was not contacted, they cancelled my reservation and allotted it to someone who came in AFTER I arrived at the facility. They made a rescheduled mine to next day - but even then, it felt like getting a truck was equivalent of winning a lottery. You just don't get the comfort and confidence from this location. Book this place if this is your LAST option. Call them to ensure your reservation vehicle has arrived and reach 15 mins earlier to push them to locate your vehicle.

I have been charged 3 times for this rental. First a 1) $150.00 for rental and 100 miles, which I went over so just need to add the over the miles amount 2) $309. 70 3) $309).08 How is this possible?

Get rid of that location...they are hopeless. Can you tell me what is the point of ordering blankets and dollies and when I get there they are not available?

I had online check out completed and it still took almost 30 minutes mostly because the employee could not find the keys. He was also responsible for running the store which meant he was helping store customers too. The truck was not checked before it was rented to me. An inside dual tire was blown and had to be replaced at the next U-Haul I visited to pick up the auto transport. The trip was over 600 Miles and the truck had no cruise control. It just about killed me. This truck should only be used for local rentals or the renter should be advised.
