Returned trailer at 4:45 pm on Sunday, 15 minutes before closing. I was told I could not be given a receipt or any acknowledgment of return and that if I didn’t like it, return it somewhere else. Unbelievably poor customer service.

This location is in an out-of-the way area of Tracy California. The proprietor of this country market wasn't friendly and pretty much non-communicative. There is no designated area for drop-off of trailers and I was instructed just to "park it". Well, I didn't want to park it in the 5 or 6 designated parking spots and wasn't going to leave it in the foot tall weeks either so I placed it as close to a fence line as possible. Next time I'll return the cargo trailer directly to the U-Haul center located in Tracy.

1) At time of rental a 15' truck was quoted at $29.99/day + $0.79/mile for 1 day 2) Pleasant experience picking up truck at Byron Market on 06/09. Used easy mobile app to check-in followed by a call from a Uhaul rep at which time confirmed reservation was for 24 hours. He confirmed 24 hour rental. 2) Called the morning of 6/10 to inform a delay in return at 1pm and was told I would be charged an additional day if truck was returned 2 hours late so we decided to return on 6/11 before 10am, which was finalized. In the meantime I was called by Byron Market telling me if I would have returned it by 1pm on 6/10 there would not have been additional charges. In addition, when I originally spoke to your customer service team about returning it 2 hours late on 6/10 -they told me the truck was to be returned the day we picked it up and we only had it reserved for 6 hours! Everyone seemed to have a different answer and the flow of communication between your system doesn't seem to be working effectively leaving your customers very confused and dissatisfied. 3) Never received phone confirmation as promised the day before pickup which you indicate a $50 credit in the event this happens. I would like full resolution of: 1) Conflict of original quote of $29/day vs your actual charge of $79/day. 2) Reimbursement of additional day charged when it could have been returned by 1pm on 6/10 per Byron Market Uhaul rep.

Where to start ? The website says they open at 9am so I arrived at 9am and no one was not there then at 9:30 TJ shows up And doesn’t even apologize for being late the store owner also stated that TJ shows up whenever he feels that he needs too horrible experience and will no longer rent from this place again oh and as I arrive the next morning to drop off at 9:30 TJ was yet to be seen as he was not there again as the store owner stated that he would be in at 10:30 am they need to close this place down and not allow them to rent to people

Hard to find the place at night. The u-haul sign is too small to see. Also the place is hard to park the truck while other small cars were parking around the store.

Byron Market is not a UHaul store but I have used this location twice and was very satisfied. Both rentals were one-way rentals.

This is definitely not my first time renting from U-Haul but, this was the worse check-in/check-out I’ve experienced. My truck was not there, I ended up waiting over 30-minutes and checking back in, the truck was not checked for mileage, gas, damage, nothing. He took the keys and said, “good-bye”

This is at a market so what could I expect. The same cashier for the store did the work, and left me waiting several times to attend customers for the market. At the end, no installation or help with the trailer was done. When I was "ready" to leave, the cashier went back inside the store, and did not bother to do a brake light and turn signal check. Glad I moved from the city and will not return to this location.

Always fill the tank so as to lessen the inconveniences for frequenting gas station. It would easier for customers who are in a hurry as a result of traffic.

This location needs to get it together. We waited 1 1/2 hours and the service was unacceptable, unprofessional and the customers were not given their contracts. On top of it all, I rented a 10 foot truck and when I got there they had canceled our contact and changed it to a 15 foot truck. That was unprofessional. They should have called us to let us know ahead of time.

I was charged for a DOLLY. I specifically said I do not want a DOLLY. He had problems removing it from system, and said it would be noted that I didn't use the DOLLY. BUT I WAS CHARGED FOR IT!

Awful place to go: 1- customer service. One hours and a half waiting for the clerk to come to give me the truck. There were two more people waiting besides me in the same situation. 2- besides doing with my time whatever they please. They are rude and show no consideration or interest in the situation. 3- that truck was so dirty inside and out that I didn’t even know if I was going to be able to use it for transporting my furniture. 4- their computer was malfunctioning so they couldn’t print the paperwork consuming even more time then expected. 5- I paid two boys $15 an hour for waiting at a uhaul location. 6- this is not the first time. Coming to this location is a nightmare every single time. The dad has to call the son over the phone, so the client has to wait until he comes from home for at least 30 minutes every time. When we say something the dad acts like if we have to appreciate they are there helping us since the profit they get for the service is such a misery. It makes no sense at all.

Reservation for 9am but the man wasn’t there because he was out getting coffee and something to eat. Didn’t get the truck until 10am and was had to sit there and wait. Threw my whole day off schedule and couldn’t get my car out of the shop before they closed.

The service at Byron was great, however I was suppose to pick up the truck at the Modesto McHenry which changed at the last minute. Then I was sent to the Standiford u- haul and they didn't have the 15 footer I had requested. The young woman who works there was wonderful. She went out of her way to find the truck and it was at the Byron location. Having to drive 35 minutes out of our way was not the great. We were moving out of state and that was inconvenient. Also, the same exact thing happened to my son in law and daughter just one month before. They had to go to 3 locations and then they gave them a 25 footer to make up for the 15 footer that they still never got. Just a little frustrating but over all the truck ran great and the people that work for you are wondetful! It is what it is!
