When I picked the vehicle up it had a quarter tank of gas. I drove about 20 miles maybe a little more and added a few gallons of gas. about $11 worth with gas at $3.89. I took a picture of the the miles and gas when I dropped it off, the woman working said nothing but when I arrived home, Inoticed a $50 dollar gas charge and a $30 service fee for the filling. I was never made aware that I would be required to fill an almost empty tank or I would have made them fill it prior to my receiving the vehicle. The seems illegal. I will never use Uhaul again. Or that location. Very disappointed, and I will be filling a complaint with the BBB.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkTruck was given to me ON E told her multiple times that I needed the truck all day long and apparently that was not notated or anything. They ran into other issues with customers needing the truck. Then upon arrival to drop off, the truck was not helpful. Whatsoever requested that fuel would be topped off, even though I brought it back to the same level of empty as I left.
Ryan POur dolly was not in the back of the truck on pickup and there ended up not being one available. They gave us a appliance dolly, but it wasn’t what we needed and didn’t end up using it
Katey HI made a reservation online and opted out of the optional added insurance. My total was going to be approx $42. The clerk added it on without my approval and said he ran my credit card for $63. I said to him Wait no its supposed to be $42. and he said Its too late I had the insurance added on there. Very unprosessional and shady in my opinion. Do these clerks make money off the added insurance? Why else would he add that on there without telling me it wasn't what my online reservation reflected. He didn't credit me back right then, he said I'd have to ask Uhaul for a refund. If you can help me rectify this I'd really be a happy customer. Reservation #: 83475587
Joanna DCalled after I unloaded to see what the procedure was for returning the truck. I asked, "When can I return the truck?". The reply was, "Did you return the truck? You have to return the truck? Is it there already?" I asked again trying to clarify but the woman on the line kept repeating the questions and hung up on me. The next day I gassed up at the Sinclair station and then went in to ask where I should put the truck. The same woman by the voice told me, "You have to return the truck, you can't leave it at the pump." Then she walked over to a space where she wanted the truck to be parked and gave me these big waves to move along more quickly like you might if you're being impatient with someone. I'll rent from anyone but UHaul next time.
