Tried to inform individual who rented truck to us that we would need to keep it an extra day, so UHaul could efficiently schedule truck. Was told to keep it and pay extra charges when we turned it in. Called UHaul to let you know we would need truck extra day. This situation also happened when we rented a different truck 3 weeks earlier as well. Both times when we called it was a major run around. Why doesn’t UHaul have ability for customer to tell you on line how long they are going to need the rental for? Would save customer a lot of aggravation.

At pick up I was initially treated rudely. It was as if the one n only agent had better things to do. He mentioned that it has been very busy and he was trying to take a break. I get it, likely a most deserving, but don’t take it out on me, Secondly, shame on me for not throughly reviewing the rental paperwork before leaving with the truck..,the agent never offered 8insurance protection or spoke of the benefits of the coverage but did add to the agreement. It’s clearly my fault as I signed. However there was a blatant lack of disclosure on your side. Lastly upon return the same agent( never introduced by name) said “ you can just leave the keys with me, your good to go”. No I needed a receipt and also wanted to change by billing card. The attitude the agent took was almost as if he felt he had some extrodinary effort by having to check and inspect the truck before he could change my billing card. To which I replied, I understand. I knew very well the unit would need to be inspected but his demeanor was as such that this was s major undertaking because as a lone agent he had to lock up the office and go take care of business. I have rented many times over the years from Uhaul and will likely again, but not from this location at Tanque Verde Road. Please note that I feel that my remarks would not be complete if I did not share the circumstances the location who reserved for me. I initially stopped into to your location at Wilmot and Golf links...very professional and apologetic that they did not have a unit available as I was a walk in with a last minute need. Not only did they find another location with availability but called me after I left reminding me that my Grandson had left behind a toy. Now that’s a memorable experience and a location that will get my next reservation and future business. I would like to thank that entire team for their professionalism and kindness.

The truck I rented was filthy inside and out. It looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a very long time. could barely see out of the windows. The UHAUL system completely lost my reservation while I was checking in with the clerk and we had to do everything over again. Also, the UHAUL system originally made 2 reservations for me, even though I never completed the first one. You guys really need to fix your technology systems.

Attendant tried to use every scare tactic in the book to get me to buy insurance. Just ridiculous. I realize it's a big profit center for you, but enough is enough. I'll probably not use this center again.

Way to many extra costs. One dollar per mile is outrageous. Mandatory insurance also when our insurance covers it. Probably will not use you anytime soon

I would never recommend this location to another customer. After inquiring in-person about a rental truck in Tucson, Arizona, Mark told me they had none at his location. I started to leave, then found there actually was an available truck at his location! When I told him I have a unique situation with my drivers license, he was rude and insulting. I am in the military with an out-of-state license and a copy from the issuing state that it remains in effect past the expiration date as long as I am in the military. Despite the fact that Arizona recognizes out-of-state IDs and my California license has been accepted by rental car companies, law enforcement, and the federal government, Mark told me, "well, this isn't California". In my 17 years of military service I have never been treated this rudely or with such contempt. I showed him my proof of insurance and registration on my own vehicle to finally convince him. Mark has no customer service skills, knowledge of the law even when presented with evidence, or respect for the unique circumstances that servicemembers have. ANY other U-Haul location would be preferable to this one.

Put back up cameras on your trucks and stop The BS by the sales person about its a new policy at Uhaul that its required for me to purchase uhaul insurance for the rental when I'm fully insured for a rental truck with my USAA auto insurance policy!

Windshield was dirty inside and outside. Front of vehicle was dirty from previous road trip (bugs, dirt, etc.). One windshield wiper (driver side) falling apart. Interior of truck spotless and clean. Personnel on checking out of vehicle were more than helpful, and very pleasant and friendly. Keep you well informed through out the whole process. Vehicle did not have cruise control. Easy to drive and comfortable. I always rent U-Haul when needed. Probably always will. Never rented from this location before, but was easy and pleasant.

I rent a lot of U-Haul trucks and the one thing I always complain about is dirty windshields and when the sun hits it, it is really hard to see. Its not enough to clean the outside of the windshield the inside gets a film on it and is very dangerous as well.

Unit was closed when I arrived. They charged me for $10+ in fuel even though the tank was half full as it was when I picked it up. I also had to pay a few additional miles even though the truck did nothing but go from point a to point b./

I got there and they gave away my truck had to call the customer to come back. we were there over an hour I had 3 movers waiting for a truck and had to pay thrm for their time. I received nothing for my time. Guy was apologetic but it was unnecessary and a discount should have been given.

WE WERE TOLD THAT WE HAD TO ACCEPT U - HAULS INSURANCE IN ORDER TO RENT A VEHICLE. WE STARTED OUT AT $19.95 AND ENDED UP AT $62.16 FOR A BRIEF 20 MILE ROUND TRIP THAT TOOK LESS THAN 2 HOURS. TOO EXPENSIVE
