Shanan CDrop off was easy. I did not have to interact with the personnel or enter the location to say if it was clean or not. maybe we need a N/A option.
Marionetta CI did not catch his name but the man at the front was so kind. Notably: 1. I dropped the truck off about 15 minutes before closing on Saturday and I got no mean looks even though that would have been totally fair. I was also early, since I wasn’t scheduled to drop off until Monday morning, so it’s not like he was expecting me. 2. I did not know there might be a cleaning fee, so I didn’t make efforts to clean out the cab. It wasn’t dirty, but there was definitely some cat hair. My guy took a look, said “It’s clean enough and I can run a vacuum no problem. No charge.” Bless. 3. He asked about the moving blankets that I had reserved and paid for but didn’t receive. I explained. It was only about $20 and I would have just eaten it since I couldn’t prove anything, but he went to the trouble to refund me. It wasn’t just the refund, but this could have been a real mess. My contract stated that I received these items. He could have charged me not just for the rental but essentially for stealing them, since I certainly couldn’t return them. Instead, he chose to believe me. That doesn’t always happen these days. 4. I had taken a photo of the dashboard before I left. Gas tank said 117 miles before empty. I returned the truck with the dash saying 121 miles before empty. For whatever reason, the system wanted him to charge me for gas, saying I didn’t leave it with enough. Based on my picture with time stamp, he fixed this and did not charge me. I was out of there 2 mins before close. He verified I received my receipt via email. Everything was golden. Moving is stressful AF and I was very thankful the close of this trip was so much smoother than the rest. Thanks again, sir.
