I arrived to pick up the 26' Truck about 15 minutes early for my 10:00 . The individual on duty did not speak English. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes or so for someone to arrive at the pick up location who did speak English. I also learned the 24 moving pads/blankets were not on the truck or available at that location. I had to go to another U-Haul Dealer on Peoria to get the moving pads/blankets, which took an approximately an extra 20 minutes. In the meantime, people I had to help load the truck had to wait the additional time for me to arrive with the truck along with the piano mover. Also, in addition to the equipment not being cleaned, there was damage to each side of the truck as well as a low tire on the rear drivers side. There was only about 100 miles left in the gas tank. The low fuel tank and low tire caused an additional delay to get on the road. Also, a folder was left in the truck by someone else. I didn't open it because I thought it was information related to the rental.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkWhile reserving it said this location was available 24/7. That was not true. I had to wait an hour to get vehicle. I was trying to get the truck early before it got too hot but that didn’t happen. Truck was damaged all over and had a horrible wobble between 45 mph and 60 mph.

The trucks window was very dirty and after I left I realized the window wipers did not work when I tried to use the wipers to clean the window. The truck was overall clean except the front window.

The man did not speak one world of English, had zero idea of what to do for a return, no computer, tried to take a picture of my DL, tried to keep my paperwork, and had no idea how to open the trailer door to look inside! He also did not offer to help me unhook the trailer and it’s my opinion, that he couldn’t have unhooked it anyway. This should NOT be an authorized Uhaul place and should be looked at. I would be ashamed for my company to allow this as a pick up and drop off location.
