Your payment system is ridiculous. Because this stupid company hasn't learned how pre-authorizations work yet the customer has to carry twice the cost of the move on their credit card until they can be reimbursed for the amount they were charged on pick up. I understand needing the security of the credit card for payment, but most companies understand how to run a pre-authoization so that the transaction can just be completed for the proper amount upon return, not start a separate transaction for the final amount and then you get the amount charged when you picked up the vehicle released/reimbursed a week later.

The location is not ideal for mobile pickup because the trucks are parked 3-4 blocks away and the business wasn't open to help. It was really hard to find the truck and we had to keep going back and forth between the business and the truck to get keys, etc.

After all confirmed, Uhaul gave a call 3 hours before my time telling me NO CAR AVAILABLE. They gave me 2 options take one in Delta (I live more than 1 hour far) or take other for less time and early. Conclusion, instead of 3 hours we have 2 hours, instead 4 people we had 2 people (we contract 2 people to help us but they were not available early) and instead of taking the car 2 blocks from our home we took it almost 30 minutes from our home. The smell inside the vehicle was animal dung. The only good thing was the guy on the pickup point, he was really supportive and very friendly.

The service personnel were very nice, but I had to wait an extra 2.5 hours for my truck. I had booked it over the phone for 2pm and had to wait until after 4pm to get it. As I was moving to Victoria, this error on your part caused me to miss two ferries and to only arrive at my destination at nearly 11pm, incredibly exhausted and physically ill from it all! A waste of time and money and frankly unacceptable. I want my money back. The locations and personnel were fine on both ends. However, I would never ever recommend or use Uhaul again because you do not honour your arrangements. Apparently Uhaul has a reputation for doing this. Moving is incredibly stressful as it is and my experience with you made it SO much worse. It's not okay. For my next move I will not be using Uhaul.

The online reservation and invoicing was very flawed, I was charged .79cents per KM not .49cents as per contract. It took the store operator 15 minutes to correct the miscalculations by the uhaul online invoicing.

Location is really central; we don't have a car so it was nice to be able to take the Skytrain to pick-up the truck. Overall, the booking went smooth, the process was straight forward and the instructions from the shop were clear.

Vehicle was only half-full when I picked it up and not the 5/8 that it claimed. When I try to bring it to the attention of the person that I rented it from he suddenly lost the ability to speak English.

That was the worst experience I ever had moving, I don't think I'll use uhaul again. There is no uHaul signs in front of the store and they don't answer the telephone. Then they gave me the wrong key, I couldn't find the truck and I had to go back, when suddenly the place was packed, I lost almost an hour on that. To finally get in that smoke smelling truck. And on top of it they charged me for an extra $15 for insurance that I didn't ask for, maybe she didn't understand because barely speak English. But "no" is difficult to misunderstand. I'd hardly use or recommend the company.

Van was covered in 4 inches of snow and ice. There was no tool to even clean the windows from the snow. Additionally we booked online close to our house. When the reservation confirmed we had to drive an extra 5 km one way for pick up. With the pay by the model we had to pay extra.
