The van was filthy: the back was full of dirt, there was dried mud inside and out throughout the van, dog hair on the seats, dusty dashboard and the whole van smelled of alcohol. I had to line the back of van with my own tarp and the seats with towels. I believe I should have been given a discount for having to take such a dirty vehicle which I was renting to move couches and mattresses - items I was trying to keep super clean.

ROBERT DThis is my 3rd time renting at this location. I was there when the shop opened. I had already done the online check-in, so was on my way in only a couple of minutes. We did an examination of the truck together and he pointed out the pre-existing damages. I brought the truck back a little earlier than expected and it seems the gentleman stepped out for a minute, so I used the online drop-off services, then received my bill via email, soon afterward, no surprises. Everything is always as it should be and the gentleman is friendly and fun to chat with. When I rent a truck, this is always my preferred location. I’ve had to rent from other locations in the past, but only because they were closer to the location. He has a lot of trucks and the only complaint I have is, sometimes there’s customers ahead of me and they don’t always do the online check-in and I’m stuck waiting.
Dennis WI had some issues with the app fixing the right gas and milage before leaving the lot but the owner there was very helpful and was able to get me a different truck. He was very nice and helpful 😊

Martin UI had a very disappointing experience with U-Haul. The customer service at 1766 Renfrew was not helpful and seemed unsure of what they were doing, which made the entire process frustrating. On top of that, I was charged unexpected fees that were not clearly explained, leaving me feeling overcharged. I expected better communication and transparency. I hope U-Haul improves its customer service training and billing practices to prevent other customers from having the same experience.

Dante DThe tire allaignment was bad. Got towed, was charged for the ride plus extra charges. Car was very unsafe, dirty and was charged extra for gas. How can I fill the car up when it has been towed. Over all horrible experience. Ive rented Uhauls in the past and would recommend going straight to Uhaul itself and not a random dealer. Tow truck driver deemed it unsafe.

Gordon AWhen we noticed van had not been cleaned, Fred swept the back out. The cabin was not clean either. Not sure why Fred didn’t check the whole vehicle?? When we returned the van Fred made a derogatory comment about me to my husband. Even when we first arrived to drop off, I felt Fred was impatient asking for the key when I had just told Fred my husband was just arriving!! How could I possible have the key. We will never use this location again.
Kim PThe contractor had terrible social skills - the uhaul app was not working and he wasn’t talking to any of the customers and would just say ‘next’ if we weren’t able to do online check-in. After we managed to check-in ourselves, they did not tell us where the van is so we had to just wonder around the neighborhood and try each vans to see if it turns on.
Keegan HIt isn’t the location that is causing the most trouble for customers. It’s the fact that the company doesn’t have a sustainable computer network nor a team dedicated enough to handle customer service 24/7.

Luke LThe U-Haul representative was extremely rude and argumentative with customers. He did not answer questions properly and instead blamed others for being upset with him. His customer service and management skills were very poor. I had reserved a dolly three weeks in advance, and due to his poor handling of the situation, I almost lost my reservation.

ROBERT BFred, who is in charge was very mean and argued with me. I was asking how it works in terms of mileage he only explained once but not in full details. When asked again to explain, he reluctantly and said “ Do you not get it, I am not trying to cheat you here”, when putting in my information, he said “ what the heck did you do” when his iPad clearly had technical issues. He thinks I am trying to argue with him overall when customers always have the right for full disclosure.
