The first trailer that was suggested had a lighting problem so the staff member quickly changed to a new trailer checked all the lights and hooked me up. Then your indoor staff kept me waiting in line for ten minutes to get revised paperwork. I realize all customers need to be treated equally and that line ups do occur, however when I am there because of something you want, and caused, you should fast track those customers.

Honestly, nothing. It was incredibly easy, staff were knowledgeable and organized (specifically, insurance, driving restrictions and policies on late return), plus they made me feel no pressure in an offer for a storage locker. The returning agent at the end was also very awesome, thanked us for folding the blankets, and got us on our way efficiently. I want to mention that the online booking experience was also best-in-class. Everything was as expected, couldn't have been better!

Staff was courteous and helpful. There was a bit of a long time before one could be served. Rates and charges were honoured as posted online. The return was very efficient. I have returned for more rentals from U-Haul. Marie did an excellent job. Thank you.

the vehicle had a horrible odor. upon checkout, I was told they had my credit card info and all was well. It wasn't. When I got my receipt, they had inflated the km driven slightly but, more importantly, did not record the fuel balance correctly. Impossible to argue about this after the fact. Don't trust them. They're dishonest and don't deserve your business.

Even after a rocky start with the weather being so bad and all. I was able to still use the equipment and felt save doing so. Also customer service was so helpful and guided me to fixing the flat tire on my u-haul. Customer service called me back several times and made sure everything was good and made sure I was safe and not endanger. Thanks customer service your were great Rebeca. When picking up a trailer at the SE Marine Drive location, there should be a clearly marked pick up and drop off area. It seems like there is a U-Haul guy driving to meet you and it isn't that obvious to a newbie where to stop.

Vehicles are picked up with quarter tank of gas. This creates anxiety in the mind of the customer if they rent the car for multiple trips as they have to constantly check the fuel level and second guess whether they have enough fuel to do another trip. If not, how much should they add to avoid having to go back the second time before returning the car. Recommendation: Keep gas tank full so customer can just fill up the tank when returning the vehicle.

The signs for drop-off around the back of the very large building were somewhat hard to find in the dark (could be due to our long and tiresome day.) We ended up dropping it off at the wrong spot and a very kind man directed us to the correct area even as they were closing. They have a 24 hour drop off, which is very convenient, and we wish we ended up using rather than going into the office. We ended up standing around in the front desk area assuming we were waiting for someone to speak to us, and neither of the two girls even acknowledged we were there. We stood there for a good 10 minutes before I interrupted them and asked if we actually needed to speak to someone, or if we could just drop the keys somewhere and be on our way. I understand it was closing, but they weren't attentive in the slightest. Non-specific to this location but just the reservation in general, I was asked to drop off the truck to the Best Foods grocer on E 12th. This drop off location was in my confirmation email when I checked in, the receipt I received when I picked the truck up with the address and their phone number, and in the reminder text message I received confirming the drop off location almost 5 hours after I picked up the truck. When I arrived at the location there were no obvious places to drop off the vehicle. We decided to park it in the alley out back while we went inside to figure out what was going on when we were greeted by a seemingly irritated man, which was fair enough because U-Haul continues sending people there to drop off vehicles and he has no legal place to park them. Apparently the city is threatening to take him to court if he allows anyone to drop a commercial or business vehicle in the residential parking. I phoned uhaul and was told to drop the car off at the marine drive location. I topped up the gas to where it was at the beginning of the day before I planned to drop it off at Best Foods, was rerouted a 20 minute drive in relatively busy traffic, mentioned to the girl behind the desk that the gas is a bit under as I was inconveniently sent to another location, she told me it was fine , and I ended up getting billed at the end up my day anyways because the gas was slightly lower than when I initially picked up the car. Basically just reiterating the fact that this company is rather disorganized and I probably wouldn't want to use them again.

I was charged for fuel $18 after I have replaced it in full just before returning the rental vehicle. Clearly very, very, very suspicious, n'est pas? I have proof with pictures taken of the dashboard of fuel and km upon return. Conclusion, you have a malicious gremlin on the front line playing stupid games. Remember, ya can not fool tax auditor. It is your business and your image so do something.

I had booked a truck over a month before and the day before that I was going to move I was told that the truck was not available until 2;00 pm and that I had to drive to a different location to pick it up. It was a lot of stress and I had to re organize my move....

The passenger side mirror was damaged. And I believe the nail we had in one of tires which caused us to get stuck was in there when we picked it up. Also when I tried calling the station where I rented the vehicle From I was transferred to the call centre. I talked to Brandon and he was understandable of us getting stuck and leaving a massage for the station. After 20min I haven't heard anything and called back and was again transferred to the call Center and talked to Tim. When explaining the situation of us getting stuck and waiting for the call back of the station, Tim was quite rude and just said I would just have to wait for the call back. He did not volunteer the information that he is actually not at the station, instead being in a call centre. After explaining that we have been waiting for some time and asking if he could contact the station he again just said no, no empathy or even an explaination why he couldn't. Which would it make ok if there is no system for that. Really disappointed about the experience when having to talk to the call Center

I rent the van for night to move my stuff, but van wasn't in good condition mean the mirror inside was very dirty and the wiper suddenly stopped working on operations, then turn off and on started working. That was pretty scary moment

Customer service was very lacking. Overall, the job got done, but there was confusion and double booking of my truck. I did manage to bring it back 4 hours early to accommodate the person who U-Haul had double booked but felt that the whole situation was unprofessional. Otherwise, the process was straight forward and everything worked out fine. Average experience overall.

Making sure you don't double book. We were extremely put out and had to drive 30 minutes each direction out of our way due to the company's error. Then we waited 20 minutes in line to rent the uhaul and another 20 for the staff to bring the uhaul around to the front for us to inspect it and be on our way. Overall it was a horrible experience and we will not be using uhaul again nor recommending it to our friends/family.

I called from downtown Vancouver to see where the closest place would be to drop off the truck I was renting and was directed all the way out to Richmond area. Was a long drive on busy city roads and took me nearly an hour. I cant help but feel that there must have been one closer, or if not I wish they had given me a heads up. Once I got to the drop of location (after hours drop off) there was not a lot of signage and I had recieved no real direction on where to leave the truck, where to leave the keys. Anything really, so I ended up having to call again for more info. I really wish that had been gone over so I didnt have to waste both my time and the time of the person on the phone helping me.

Uhaul drop off was scheduled at Whistler but that location no longer exist for more than 1 year. I had to drive more than 1 hour away to drop off the truck. Complicated rearrangement of drop off location. Very disappointed.

I didn't like that when I went in to the store I got three different quotes from three employees until I talk to her manager as for the back of the truck the person before me had mud or dirt that was dried all through the back of the truck which made my stuff a little dusty but other than that great
