I reserved a truck 40 days prior to move from LA to VA for a local pickup, only to be told the day before pickup that the truck was not available and that I had to drive 45 miles away just to pick it up. To make matters worse, I was told this after the location was closed. This made me waste 4 1/2 hours of moving just to pick the truck up and bring it back to start the pack out. While the agent gave me an extra 59 miles for the reservation, nobody was sympathetic to the inconvenience and stress that this major delay caused, no discount offered, nothing. For a company ‘founded by veterans and dedicated to helping veterans move,’ this was the worst of my 7 military move experiences! If you are in the military, I HIGHLY recommend you source a different company. On the flip side, the men at the office in Vivian were very nice and helpful! Leave it to southern hospitality.
