The sales clerk is shady as a used car salesman. He upcharged me 6 extra miles and was telling me not to stick around. I didn't need to watch him fill out final paperwork. I'd get an email later letting me know. I saw the final mileage at 1041 on the odometer and he said write it down and go, then the bill comes in saying the car was at 1047. When I called him to tell him he acted like it was no big deal and condescendingly said so what it's like $3. I told him no it was over $8 but also it's the principle of it. He claimed ge would fix it but he hasn't. The whole transaction felt shady from the beginning. The guy even put the wrong address in for me and he was looking at my license when doing it. Not like a numerical error, but a full mess up. My address is 34 he puts 155. The street name is entirely wrong as well. Completely unprofessional and I will not use hos services ever again.
Don't promise you will have a truck at the time you requested. It should be more vague like you may or may not get your truck. Ended up waiting 5 hours for the truck to become available and lost a whole day because of it.

My experience with Uhaul was one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. Less than 24 hours before I was moving, I was contacted and told that I'd have to pick up my truck rental over 3+ hours away because the area I was submitted to pick-up my rental was a â€œpreferred location and not confirmedâ€. After being told that, I cancelled that reservation and switched to what I thought was a closer location in Queens because it was the only location with my equipment rental.. they switched the pick-up location AGAIN. Unable to switch or look for another company with such short notice before my move, I had to go 2+ hours out of the way to pick-up my equipment the morning of my move. I received over 4 calls from U-Haul the day before my move and there seemed to be zero communication or record of communication between me and the other U-Haul reps that called me. I was then incorrectly charged over $335 (on top of my original purchase of $150) for going an extra 700+ miles (which is completely false and absolutely incorrect). After emailing to dispute the charge, I received zero response from Uhaul. After that, I called and was told that someone would call me within 72 hours.. that was over 5 days ago and I still have yet to be contacted. Never again will I use U-Haul.. completely inconsiderate to the customer and terrible terrible experience overall. I'd 100% recommend looking elsewhere.

By the time I got to the drop off location (sometime after 1500) the office was closed and only the lot was open. There was someone (but not the UHaul manager) who helped unhook and "park" the trailer. I had to call the office the following day and request they close out the order since i had not papwerwork that they had receive the trailer and I was still liable. it took several days for that to happen. Next time I need UHaul service in the Long Island area I will look for a different location.

They were knowledgeable about the equipment, but, were a little less knowledgeable about the computer system that they had to use. Nice people and helpful.
Employee did not know how to perform the check-in process properly. After 20 minutes of trial and error and speaking with a U-haul rep on the phone I was told that my check in was complete but was given no contract.
took to long to get equipment credit card to to long to go through. i needed a different drop than the one that i had i brought a straight hitch. the rental place had nothing. i went to lowes bought a 3 1/4 inch drop. one the way home had to stop and get a 6 inch drop to get trailer level. it cost me over $60 in additional hitches. taking up

The worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul. Computer at location was not working and everything was done over the telephone and then I was told verbally without seeing a contract on the amount. After several calls to Regional office I spoke to a representative who explained what I was receiving for the amount told to me and I was sent an email containing the contract. There is so much more that I'd like to type but I'll just end it like this. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this location and I would highly recommend this location to not be a representative of U-Haul.
I dont know where to begin on my experience. Owner was not aware of our rental, wasn't there when were arrived to pick up yruck. I had locate him and wait 15 min. Paperwork was a challenge for him, couldn't figure out how to do it. Couldn't access my reservation and receipt after drop off. I finally have him $50 cash so i could leave, it was out of frustration on my part. I now have paid $100 for what should have been $50 , at most. His Customer service was horrible. My penske experiences puts uhaul experince, first timeuser, to shame.
