The truck we received was absolutely trashed. There was garbage everywhere, melted chocolate, and cat hair everywhere. My mother was miserable the night after we drove it after only riding 2 hours. My parents will be moving soon and are very unlikely to choose U-Haul to rent from after our experience.

We reserved a 20' truck online for pickup at 10 am. Luckily, we received a text message the day before, because it stated that our truck was a 26' footer and our pickup time was 4:15 PM. We had to call the 800# to re-reserve our original truck.

My only suggestion: There’s a sign where you drop off the truck that says to “Wait in the Truck for Assistance.” However, that clearly wasn’t how the business operated. I left the truck and walked into the building to turn in the key because no one was around to meet me in the truck outside. So I would remove that sign. Thanks!

I was charged 10 dollars on utility dolly and furniture pads, while I didn't rent them or used them. Sent email to 764062_GM@uhaul.com and got no response.

In college towns, supplying more dollies would be helpful. Or, let the customer know beforehand that the location does not have the equipment you've tried to rent. Carrying heavy boxes of books up and down four flights of stairs because we found out last minute that no dollies were available was not fun.

Stood in line for 48 minutes even though I did the mobile trick rental. The place was understaffed and not customer friendly. Three people walked out while waiting in line. Paid too much money to be treated so poorly.

When we first got there, we waited about 15 minutes before being helped because no one was at the front desk. Then when returning the vehicle a few minutes after 7, which was their closing time, they had told us beforehand there was a drop box for the keys. Well what they didn't tell us was that the drop box was in the building that they just moved from. As we attempted to get their attention they sat there and just pointed. After other people arrived and we all wondered around for about a half an hour looking for the drop box. We were able to get the employees to confirm where it was. They sat in the building and it was locked the whole time.

1) I placed a reservation to pick up the truck at 8 am via the website. I got to the store and my equipment qasnt ready and I couldn't check in. The store didnt open until 9, so I had to waste my time and gas all while being on a strict schedule. 2) I get back to the store at 9 am, and of course it did NOT open on time. There was a long line beginning to form and finally about 15 minutes later someone opens up the door, so I had to wait even longer 3) the website should never give out the GMs personal cell phone number. The website prompted me to call said number and it turns out that he was not at work(not his fault) but my issues had to wait to be resolved. 4) I return the truck and had to wait for the employee to finish using the restroom which took a bit of time. Why there was only one employee working during busy season baffles me. Overall it was a terrible experience and I am extremely unhappy about giving the $69 when nothing first the beginning to end went right!

This was my first time using Uhaul service and my experience was great. Getting a storage unit or renting a uhaul van took less than 15 minutes to set up. Plus this location offered a first month free special on their storage unit which made my experience even better.

I specifically asked for the location closest to my apt and the truck I needed was at another location. I understand it was a holiday weekend but that was when I was available to move. Then, once I got there, I had to wait an hour for the store to open. I requested the truck at 8 am at one location and was told to go to another one and the store did not open until 9 am. Not great.

Staff were very helpful and nice! I accidentally went in nearly an hour after they closed since I didn't check the sign and the door opened for me and they still helped me out. Sorry about that, guys, and thanks again for the help!

On the truck I used, the ramp wasn't working properly and it caused some problems of sliding back into place. Time consuming! I have never had this issue before.

Chase the manager assured us the moving blankets were inside no problem. We get back to Lafayette no blankets. I called him to let him no, all he did was refund blankets. I had nothing but a bad expierence from the start we had to drive over to West Lafayette to get truck to come back here and then continue to Indianapolis and back. Long exhausting day and he never did a walk around when we turned in rental he said we had to, Ive rented many times at uhaul & now I’m very unhappy with your company and this manager whom was less than caring and should have understood our inconvenience as we had to use our good bedding from our beds to cover furniture. I have a stackable washer and dryer it’s going to cost me about 20 dollars at the laundromat to wash and dry everything.
