The person who I interacted with initially when I picked up the rental truck indicated that they would be at the location until 7 pm. When I returned at 6:15 pm, no one was to be found and the door was locked. I was able to check out online since I had no issues but if I needed to have something resolved, I would have left feeling somewhat dissatisfied and misled.

A young Hispanic guy knew nothing about his job. I helped him how to get a receipt and paperwork. Very inexperienced. Unprofessional way to handle it. He worked on Sunday. Perhaps a temp job ? I won't go that place again.

I am not one to complain, however this experience is worth complaining about. We arrived at the location in Westlake and the truck was there, however the appliance dolly that was reserved was not there. The man that greeted us simply said that someone else took it. The truck was dirty and the cabin of the truck was disgusting. Due to not having the appliance dolly (we were moving a fridge) my husband put out his back and we will contact the main office. If you really want a good Uhaul service spend the extra money for miles and rent in Agoura Hills. No problems there and friendly service as well.

Location was not prepared both days we went. On Saturday no trucks, dollies or blankets were available even though we reserved in advance. On Sunday they were late and forgot keys so we had to stand around waiting for the security guard to open. No dollies or blankets were abailable Sunday either.

Do not promise equipment that has not been confirmed as being returned on time. I was promised a 4x8 then told I'd get a 5x8. When I got to the site and hour and a half later than my reservation time, and the 5x8 I was promised still had not been returned. The solution? I could drive an hour plus in traffic to pick up another trailer or I could take a 6x12. So we upgraded, but it cost a lot more on gas for a trailer that was much bigger than I needed. The whole situation was frustrating, and no one ever even acknowledged the inconvenience. It was just expected that we would take the bigger trailer and be happy but no one ever said sorry, or even that they understood why I was upset.

The employee working was extremely helpful. He pulled the vehicle to the front of the store during pickup and stayed a few minutes extra because I was coming 5 minutes after the location was closing on Sunday. Great customer service!

Maybe rather than ask if the operator has any questions, about the operation of the vehicle, show them how to operate everything in the vehicle including the windshield washer and the headlights. I did okay, but I wasn't sure that the headlights were turning on as the twilight progressed to night.
