Supposedly, the entire nationwide system had shut down and so the employees had to manually submit all rental submissions. I, along with multiple other customers, had to wait for a very long time. My pickup time was scheduled for 9am and I did not receive my rental trailer until 11, which caused me to show up late to my event and left a lot of my customers disappointed in my business practice.

The young woman who helped me did just fine. No complaints with her. She was professional and friendly. I was disappointed and frustrated with the online check-in experience. It took nearly 30 minutes and I still had to walk into the office and work with Uhaul staff to finish. The fact that you are required to verify two separate people without prior notice was annoying. I had to coordinate to ensure those calls were answered otherwise I would have had to wait even longer or cancel the whole process and do a traditional transaction. The online option should not be available if the office is open. Because the layout of this location looks like an empty yard with no office, I thought that was why I was being directed to completed the online transaction.

Don't know why but the chargers were way off and I had to call tog get it corrected. Also, received about 15 emails from U-Haul and all of them we off.

We had scheduled our pick up at 8am and there was nobody at the location and the door was locked. Someone finally showed up 20/30 minutes late.

Did not have supplies I reserved when booking online. Said I needed to call to confirm. What is the point of reserving ahead of time if I can’t get what I need. Thankfully the movers I got had what was required.

I received a gas charge of $6.18 (on my emailed bill) which I shouldn't owe since I filled the truck up with gas to the level it was when I rented it. Otherwise all was great.

Location was short staffed to run business. Only one person on duty. While she was very pleasant, courteous and professional, she was not trained how to help hook up rental trailers. She apologized that no other employees were staffed at the time to help.

I was called to see if I would accept a 5 x 10 instead of 5 x 8 trailer. I asked if the only difference was 2 extra feet. The answer was yes. Got to the location. Asked if the trailer would hold a queen sized bed, to which the agent replied "I think so". The 5 x 8 models boldly advertise this, but the 5 x 10 did not. We drove three hours to retrieve our things, only to find that the 5 x 10 is a full 7 inches SHORTER, and does not fit a queen sized bed. Your agents should be versed in something as straightforward as "are the inside dimensions the same". Completely impacted our move.

This will be my last time with Uhaul as you repeatedly are unable to grant what was reserved. I reserved a 26 foot truck, it was confirmed with a location on Sat. Got there Mon, no truck. They wanted to give me a 20FT for same price? Less truck same price? We ended up having to take the 20 foot and make two trips vs. one. Very disappointed even though after much discussion I was given a discount.
