I made a reservation for this location, a week in advance. I was then told they would not have a truck available for me on the day of my reservation instead I was told to travel to a location 15 miles south in Aurora, Missouri. I received text confirmation sent by U-Haul telling me to pick up the unit at 8:30 AM. When I arrived at the described location, it was closed. Traveling back to the location in Mount Vernon the location where I was told a unit would not be available. I found exactly the unit I had reserved setting on the lot. I was able to rent the truck in question. But was told neither appliance dolly nor furniture pads I had reserved with my reservation were available. Instead, Brad‘s True Value rented me one of their own appliance dollies at five times the cost. This is the second identical experience I have had with Brad’s True Value.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe unit rented smelt like a dog kennel in the box. It had to be washed out before I could use it. The inside of the truck smelled like a wet dog had dog hair all over stuff, spilt in cupholders and end floor. The overall truck was very disgusting. I have rented from this location several times this is the first time that I have experienced this with this location. They did not seem to care was supposed to return a call on Monday morning as I had returned on Sunday as of Thursday I have still yet to receive a call, but they sure charged me the full amount.

KATRENA WFriendly Fast service, explained everything in detail and got us on the road quickly. Even had a store cat to pet while waiting (which was extremely short time). Highly Recommend this buisness!
