My Honda Ridgeline apparently has chain attachment points that are too thick for Uhauls standard hooks. This required your tech to use tools to reconfigure the chain's and he cheerfully completed it without a single grumble. Outstanding.... Thanks.

No one came out to the truck to make sure I knew how to turn on lights or anything else. The truck was dusty and the battery light stayed on. Very bad truck. I had to take my boxes out to the truck myself even though I have a crushed right wrist. Obviously, when they saw me struggling to get the boxes from the store to the truck, no assistance was offered. I had very BAD experiences with all three moving companies that UHAUL reserved for me. I will be submitting bad reviews about UHAUL on every media site. Every single time I have used UHAUL, it has been a disaster. When I called UHAUL to complain about the movers, I was told they had nothing to do with it because the movers were a third party. However, UHAUL is the one who reserved the movers. Bad service all the way around except at the Uhaul dealer in AUSTIN on 969.

I really like it when these places have big parking lots, it helps a lot when backing up a trailer. This place had a decent sized one, and there was plenty of room to drop off the trailer without difficulty.

Offer some coffee, water, something of the sort. Recommend U-Haul products to customers, especially if customers seem friendly and patient. Go with the flow, use your sales card to motivate customers to spend a little more per store. Overall, some of the best CSR's I've ever dealt with! Will recommend!

The doors on the truck were a little hard to close. Several times we had to open and close them again to get them shut properly. Dont know if they are slightly out of alignment, or just need the door latched lubricated.

For one-way rentals, why are you tagging on 5 days? I used the trailer literally about 36 hours and that's it. But I paid for 5 days. I don't think that's right. I was told over the phone that it was for “Safety” which is, in my opinion, total BS. It's very presumptuous to assume I am using it to move my home. I moved ONE piece of furniture with it. That's it. You used to just charge for the days used plus a one-way fee which is cheaper. I would recommend you bring that back. It's a waste of money to have to pay for days I don't need.

Make sure all items rented are in back of u-haul before customer leaves. Do not leave the customer until they drive off! When I got back to my apartment to load up, I raised up the u-haul door and my dolly and blankets were not there! I had to drive back to the other side of town to get them! Errr! Moving is not always a happy situation, people are nervous and tired from packing! Be consistent to every customer and walk them through until they drive off!!!! Thank you!
