It's not real obvious that this is a Uhaul location. More signage would be helpful. I completely did not see the Uhaul dropbox on the side of the building and the website points to a former business that occupied the same building - that was confusing.

Clerk had not cleaned the unit, and it was filthy in both the cab and the truck box.I rented the unit at one location via the internet, and had to drive an extra 15 miles to pickup the unit. The hand truck/dolly that I also rented had no way to fasten it in the truck, so it rolled around when the truck was unloaded and on the road. The rolling door in the back had a broken track wheel. The sales guy appeared to be very new to this type of transaction, and therefore unsure of what he needed to do.

Your staff took almost 90 minutes to rent me the trailer that I had reserved. It took two phone calls from the district manager to explain to the dealership how to rent a reserved trailer. Isn't this the job of the trailer dealer??? Seriously disappointed!

Where the 9x5 trailers are kept made it a little hard to hook to the unit by yourself. On the first trailer I attempted to hook to I could not lift the hitch high enough due to back of trailer hitting a pile of what appeared to be roofing. Had to move to second trailer to get hooked up.

The local people are great. The online reservation system is bad in that it reserved my rental at a different location than I rented. Also on the confurmation email it doesnt show the location or address or anything what location. I herd from both locations and other customers about the same issue! Uhaul needs to get this fixed for the hurricane Teays valley wv area

called a week ahead to Nitro store to reserve car dolly and when arrived at Nitro u haul the next week, it was not available. Was forced to make another trip to another u haul site. Will not be using u haul again. Final pick up site was adequate, but entire setup very unprofessional.

my only problem was the conflicting information about payment. I was not the one picking up the truck on a one way trip and I was told I could not pay for it via phone with my credit card, the person picking it up had to pay for it. When I called to make a change on the reservation I mentioned payment and was told I could do it on the phone after I had been contacted about the location for pick up. I was prepared to pay by phone that evening, had told the driver that he didn't have to just to find out that he did have to. that was upsetting cause I was in another state and he couldn't do the payment. as it was, the Winfield, WV location, allowed me to, because they weren't a U Haul facility. I believe U Haul needs to get in this century and allow payment over the phone even if that person isn't driving the truck. If I had it to do over again I would have called around to Penske or other rental places and who ever would let me pay by phone would be the one I'd go with.
