I asked how to do the return of the truck via my phone as I am not a technology person. I wanted them to show me how to do it but all I got was them looking for a sticker with info that they never found. Then they said to go on you tube to find the info. They did give me the website for uhaul and said to enter my email and password. It took me 40 minutes to figure out the "return truck", and at 11pm after moving I was not impressed. All they had to do was help me set up the account and show me how to get to the "return truck" page. For future maybe they can give a little time to the customers who ask for advice. There was 3 staff there and we were the only customers.

Return the truck only to be informed of damage on bumper not caused by me. It was there prior to me leaving the lot shown a picture stating differently but with no date or time stamp. I never left the truck no one hit it. When I picked it up no one walked the truck with me just gave me the keys. I am extremely upset to accused if damaging the bumper. I have witnesses that know I did not hit anything nor fid anything hit me. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income that is why I chose your company in place. I can not afford to pay for some one else's dishonesty. I am told a report will be sent to claims that was after I refused to pay even though they would give me a discount. Really a discount. it is my fault for not making someone inspect the truck with me before leaving the lot. I took pictures ifvthe bumper looks to me it has been damged with a hitch not by backing into something. No scratches or scuff marks. I would very much like to discuss this incident further. I phoned and informed that I will be late returning the truck. Customer service said its ok, no issues since nobody is waiting for the truck. When I returned the truck, I informed the front person I will.be paying with my debit. Aside from charging me an extra day, even though I explained to him the conversation with the customer service, he also charged the creditcard on file.

The lady that checked me in did not correctly enter the mileage to begin with so that created problems at checkout. I was initially overcharged. I also got a call on where the key was. It was in the lock boxes as instructed no way was. Going to leave it in the truck. The final amount was corrected. The steering on the truck was horrible. There was no place to complain about it. I thought it would get better loaded. The steering did not. This truck would be terrible for a long haul because of the sterling. It would dive right or left randomly.

The lady at this location was mostly interested in her own concerns. She needs to focus on the customers needs not her own. She made me feel very uncomfortable and I only had a rental of a small trailer!

We were to pick up our U-Haul in Lac du Bonnet, MB but our truck was not available (we learned from the LDB location the day before the scheduled pick up). The Lac du Bonnet (LDB) office let us know, but we did not hear from U-Haul about an alternate plan until LDB called them the day before our pick up was to occur. Clair from U-Haul called me and let me know that the error about the truck and lack of communication with us was 100% the fault of U-Haul. From this point on U-Haul was very accommodating and compensated us for the inconvenience of having to pick up a truck in Winnipeg the next morning. Clair's customer service skills were outstanding! Thank you!
