Trailer could have been cleaner. Needed a quick sweep. The person who helped me - maybe the manager - wasn't my favorite for customer service. She had called me earlier in the week to tell me the original rental was not available. She didn't do a good job of "problem solving" - she didn't think of alternate solutions that might have worked, or asked me for more details about my needs. I didn't like her overall tone or approach either. It is simply too "terse". She appears very "by the book" which I strongly suggest that she relaxes on a little bit. This experience is unusual as normally I highly recommend uhaul.

Just maintain better the vehicles. The truck was smelling marijuana when we picked it up. The U-Haul road assistance is the warden I ever experienced so far. I'm a very unhappy customer.

Your location's staff were excellent. You have no control over the internet chat; that is through the US. It was not as good as I would have wanted it. It left me wondering whether I would have the truck I needed. My interaction with the staff at the store was very good. Much appreciated.

My experience would not have been rated excellent if it wasn't for Justin. There was an issue with the storage unit I had reserved and I thought I would have to go elsewhere. Justin was able to find me a unit and resolved the problem. He was friendly, professional and has great customer service skills. U haul is lucky to have him on their team.

I rented a van for picking up some furniture from Ikea. The odour in the van made me sick. Like someone peeing in it. That day was extremely hot, I had to use AC and closed the window. It was really horrible.

Truck was not available at time request after hours, after talking to two people over phone one being a supervisor issues was not resolved, next day found out the error was your end. Caused us great stress. lucky for us we did not have to be out that nite from our move

Didn’t have the size truck we reserved a month in advance so we had to get a van. Took us 3 extra trips to move than it should have with the vehicle we reserved. We were promised a 10 cent reduced rate per kilometre for the inconvenience, employee couldn’t figure out how to put the discount in the system so we were charged the full amount.

Had to get a smaller truck than promised. Need to make an additional trip (1400km) because of the mix up. Could only carry 3200 pounds even though I was told truck could carry 5. I needed the larger truck to carry approx 6k pounds which was discussed with staff during the original booking. After the trip, I dropped off the key to the night drop off and staff couldn't find the key the next day. Even though I was under the kms I was contracted for, I was billed an additional $1096.38 and am still waiting to have that charge reversed (hopefully before overdraft fees start occurring). So far, about an hour on the phone/ on hold. Told someone will get back to me in maybe 3 days.



The truck was dirty inside and out and the seats were covered in animal fur. The truck bed was had a lot of dirt and leaves in it. If I were doing a move it would have been unacceptable. When I returned the vehicle they just put it back out for rental, it wasn't cleaned. So, the next person probably had the same experience. Staff was friendly.

The location was fine, but the booking and reservation of vehicles was awful. I booked a truck for June 1st on May 12th. On May 30th I get a call saying that it would not be available. Such short notice is a lack of consideration with customers. U-haul needs to improve their booking system and stop overbooking vehicles. This experience will make me look for alternatives of U-Haul next time I or someone I know needs to move.
