First truck they tried to rent me had traction control service light come on during start up . The biggest one was the ABS light on and being told it’s only a sensor. Well as a professional truck driver an ABS light on means there is something not working right with the braking system what bothered me the most was the gentleman trying to rent me the truck was just trying to tell me that everything was OK just to ignore the warning lights on the dash not only was he putting my life in risk other peoples lives and risk without a braking system working. The next truck they gave me had spilt coffee or a beverage all over the dash. The truck looks like it wasn’t wiped out in a very long time. Old receipts on the floor. McDonald’s cups and wrappers stuffed behind the seat. It’s pretty bad when you climb into that truck with nice and clean clothes and you come out dusty and dirty. Wasn’t impressed that the truck was in miles and not kilometers. We are in Canada not the US. Also making me pay for mileage before I’m finished with the truck. The overall experience was very, very poor and I can’t say I would recommend U-Haul to another person again if this is how U-Haul sends there trucks out.
