Terrible customer service. Rep was unwelcoming, argumentative, and stated that I can’t expect the same service I’m used to from u-haul bc the site is only an “accommodation.” Rep refused to come out for traditional walk around and to confirm gas and mileage at both pick up and drop off. Rep then charged me a $10 clean up fee even though truck was swept spotless by wife and me. A terrible fave for the company. But far worse was the response from regional manger, Kevin, who followed up with me bc I made a report if the terrible customer service and mechanical concerns. Kevin was nice enough to provide a detailed analysis of the truck he examined, but determined it was fine. To “compensate” me for the poor customer service, he offered no partial refund but only a measly $25 credit towards a future rental. Disgraceful. Every company has off experiences for their customers. But it’s how they make their customers feel when these happens that often set industry leaders apart.

Absolute worst rental with uhaul I’ve ever had. I was redirected from uhaul corporate to this location from my reservation with Jeffersonville, due to Jeffersonville truck needing repair, adding 50 miles round trip to my drive, I was to pick it up at 7 AM and told I could return it at 10 AM the following day when this location opened. The following day At 9 AM I received a rude call from the owner wondering where the truck was and I explained what had been told to us, he didn’t care, then charged us for two days rental and safe move! The truck was in pathetic shape complete beater and the tire gauge light never turned off. NEVER rent from them ever! We are long time uhaul customers as our event planning business requires us to rent monthly for events and we will never get redirected to this location ever again. Terrible just terrible!
Rhonda MJust picked up and dropped off at the laundromat location on 32 Normand Street in Winooski. The truck drove fine, but the staff member was rude during drop-off. I pulled into a parking spot and when he asked me to reposition, I told him I’d do it. Even though I was willing, he immediately took over. He also made a rude comment asking if I got my driver’s license from a gumball machine. Felt very dismissive. The process itself was fine, just the customer service fell short.
