Through the website I ordered a pick-up for an out of town reservation at U-Haul Moving & Storage at Semoran Blvd. The staff was not helpful nor spoke with me on my intent on traveling out of Orlando. They did not tell me the different types of U-Haul keys that show which are out of town or town rentals. They did not tell me that I was given 3 days and 500 miles of travel for an out of town reservation. No one from Semoran Blvd caught the discrepancy until after I dropped off the U-Haul at my final destination. The drop off location for U-Haul tried calling the U-Haul Winter Park Semoran Blvd staff and no one picked up the phone. Recommendation: Have staff members review every contract for pickup and drop-off locations for customers to ensure that is does not happen to someone who is trying to move out of town but given a -town rental. If someone looked at my miles and final destination, I believe this would have been corrected on the spot. Additionally, I wanted to rent a 10' truck but the staff told me that they did not have any even though there were three 10' trucks the parking lot. Second Recommendation: improve the website to automatically flag contracts that are going out-of-town.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThis location was friendly and efficient. I have only one thing to add. There was a question about the amount of gas in the truck before we took it. I think it would be good to have that noted before the truck is taken by the customer so the customer knows how much gas to put in upon return.
