Initially, we reserved our truck online and attempted to pick up at the Sunrise Deli location, but the pickup process there was extremely poor and frustrating. We wasted over an hour of our time and had to call the helpline but they were not helpful. If we had realized that this was there the process, we would have gone elsewhere for a rental.

Absolutely horrible that I have to take pictures of my drivers license to rent a vehicle and transmit it over the internet!!! Complete invasion of my privacy!!!!

Nothing. I was able to get, on short notice, a trailer to help me move into my new home. Not too mention it was snowing and the people there made it fast and easy and helped me out as well! Definitely the best uhaul I have ever used and would recommend it to my family and friends.

I reserved a 6x12 trailer WITHOUT ramp at 490 S Pacific Hwy in Woodburn - My reservation confirmed BOTH the location AND no-ramp trailer. I received a phone call that the reservation was ready (no mention of address or trailer type), and wrongfully assumed that the confirmation call was from the location on my reservation about the trailer I reserved. I went to the reservation location - No reservation, no trailer, nothing. Only once I called the number that had called me did I find out that my reservation had gone to a different location. When I got there the 6x12 trailer they had available had a ramp. I needed a trailer so had to make it work... The staff at the rental location were fantastic - Very friendly and helpful. I would use them again.

What I was quoted over phone was way less than what I was charged.when renting truck..I had no idea that I would also be charged for mileage..The guy renting me truck was very impatient,frustrated with me and my questions ,(they weren’t stupid questions) he was training a new employee and she was professional,doing her best to answer my questions..(maybe if I was Mexican he wouldn’t have been so rude) I find Uhaul to be outrageously expensive and I will never rent nor will I ever encourage friends to rent from uhaul!!

get Someone in there that understand the customer! My experience was horrible! They didn’t have my reservation and tried to give me a huge flat open trailer. Then sent me down the road to a location that could not be found! I spent 1.5 hour trying to get a trailer.

Was overcharged! Had to call and get that straighted out. Last time we rented, they did not have the truck we had reserved. Had to take a larger truck. It is always something at this location. Not many other uhail rentals in the area to use. Yes, we will rent from them again.

The wait time was HORRIBLE. We were stuck out in a field waiting for over 15 minutes for attendant to check us out with trailer. That was AFTER waiting in the office for over 15 minutes, and we originally "reserved" the pick up at Beaverton location, but were told the day before that there were no trailers so we had to drive 30 miles out of our way (and back again!) to pick up at the lousy Wilsonville location. Never will use U-haul again. Penske much better and easier!

Made up an excuse that they did not have the $100 deposit that was owed back to me and had to send me a check. What business doesn't have more than $80 in there till drawer. Will never go back through them again.

There is an area for improvement with respect to where equipment is to be dropped off. Both the Santa Rosa and Woodburns stores were very helpful about specifying where the equipment was to be dropped off. unfortunately someone out of the Portland office called me directly and indicated that I could drop off the trailer at any location in Salem. I went to the Salem location on 12th street. They would not accept the trailer and were not even able to handle closing out my contract for the trailer. At which point I then had to drive another 20 miles through heavy traffic to reach the Woodburn location so that I could drop off the trailer. The person from Portland also provided conflicting advice about what would be the most affordable to keep the truck that I was using for an extra week or so. She indicated that it would be cheaper to close out the current contract and then rent the truck back for local usage. The person that I spoke with at the Woodburn store indicated otherwise. There was definitely too much conflicting information here.

The lady behind the desk was nice enough. The gentleman who brought the truck and trailer were around just handed us the keys and went back inside - no visual inspection to note previous damage was performed. We went to close trailer door but it was stuck and had to ask him to come back out because we didn't want to damage it.

U-Haul should never send a truck out with an 1/8 of a tank of gas. My trip was around 100 miles and the first thing I had to do was get gas. I did get a discount for returning the truck with more gas than they gave it to me with, but it seems a little backwards.

When I called rent the vehicle the woman had,shall we say unpleasant tone of voice. I asked how much per mile she told me $0.89. When I went in I got a man instead of her luckily. He told me 69 cents and that the vehicle had a full tank of gas. When I got in the truck it only had three quarters tank of gas. Luckily, I took a picture of the mileage, gas gauge and dents before I left their parking lot. When I turned the keys in at 6 that evening I left a note with them with the above facts. This morning, the unpleasant woman called me and I had to make a trip up to their office to show them the picture so that I wouldn't be charged $4.75 per gallon for gas that I did not get. They did charge me for an extra mile more than my return picture showed. It was only $0.69 and I didn't say anything about that, but it kind of ticked me off. If there was another game in town they would never get my business again.

I called an order a specific trailer and was ensured they would have one on site when I needed it. When I showed up they didn't which forced me to make more than one trip. I will never count on them to have the right equipment again. I will only rent from the place that shows it being available.

be sure they understand how much gas to put in before returning. I thought the tanks were always kept full. I filled the tank before checking the gauge. The tank was only 3/8 full when I picked up the truck. That is very low to release a truck. I spent twice as much on gas as I did on rent.I am not happy about that.

Would be better if they'd make sure the truck is full of gas before sending it out. It looked like it was on full when I left. I ended up spendinbg $15 to top off the tank - which then showed way above full. I ended up paying like 90 cents a mile for gas. I should have figured out how much the truck gets per gallon and filled only as much as I was actually using. Don't trust the gas gauge. Despite me giving them a bunch of free gas, we had to come in person and pay the $1.38 extra because my estimate was 2 miles off (it tripped to the next mile 100 feet out of the parking lot and I forgot about an extra mile I had to go up the street). Bottom line, calculate your actual usage when filling up and don't give away free gas.

The location is open until 1:00pm in Saturday? Odd, difficult to accommodate at times. The automated system is even stranger and unable to make specific requests. This part needs examination and revision. Possibly talking to a human being as an option. Automated systems can solve problems a majority of the time but not all the time. Needing a specific vehicle for a specific length of time is not a pet of the solution you offer.
