U-Haul (the corporation) leaves a lot to desire. That said, these 2 older gentlemen that run Yelm Storage are professionals and great to work with. I will drive the extra few miles from where I live to rent from them instead of from the closer U-Haul wanna-be locations.

The location was great, although I had the auto trailer for only 35 mins, and had to return it and did not get to use the 10-hour rental on it, very disappointed that U Haul is a trash company that just wants to take money from people. Larry did an amazing job trying to advocate for me, but the field office manager from Tacoma WA is trash!
Christopher FWe returned the truck at around 11:30 PM, Saturday, January 4th. The location was way out of the way from our destination. I would not have agreed to dropping off there had I known how "off the beaten" path and far away it was. The facility was gated and locked and didn't look like a Uhaul return location. There was only a small key drop box that was very hard to find in the dark and rain. There was not a good place to park the truck so we had to block the driveway. We called the 1-800 Uhaul number and no one answered. It was a very negative experience to return the truck. There were many locations that would have been more convenient for us, after a long drive to our destination, hours of unloading and then having to return the truck to a location over 45 minutes away on winding roads. In retrospect, we would have preferred to pay for an additional day and had a more convenient return location.
JOSEPH PI returned a car trailer and parked it next to a large U-Haul truck that was parked facing the road. I either missed or didn't see any posted signs showing were to return equipment, so I dropped it off where I did. I proceeded to the office and was greeted by a less-than-friendly individual who responded to my "good morning" with a statement making it clear he wasn't very happy about where I left the trailer. I offered to hitch it back up and relocate it, but he declined. I believe this is a 24-hour drop-off location. If so, perhaps posting better signs on where to return equipment should considered. If it's a 24-hour location and I dropped the trailer off at 3:00AM, I'm sure I would have left it in the same place. Maybe he was having a bad day, but in any case, he wasn't very cordial or friendly.
KEITH SThis is the best place to go very friendly and knowledgeable.
