The person helping us was nice but having trouble with the computer connection and trying to tend to customers at the same time. We were already behind schedule because of a change in pickup location, so we lost another 45 min. Turned out the truck leaked during a rain storm on the way to destination. The clerk mentioned that a lot of trucks had suddenly been dropped off at Windy Hill, so they probably didn't have time to check everything. We were just thankful they could accommodate us on Sunday.

My complaint is with the booking. U-Haul sent me to a closed location two towns away. Had to be relocated to another location. I was there 45 min. The second location did there best. When talking to a representative they said they would send a $25 voucher which I never received. I asked if I could drop the truck off closer they said yes but was never told it would cost me an additional 56 bucks. Very disappointed!

Everyone was very nice, but it took a long time to return the truck. I am not sure if the computers were slow or the internet, but we had to wait while they waited on the system and the customers. That is tough when we just moved and there was still a lot of work to be done. But all in all, I would recommend them and U-Haul, the truck was perfect and they were very nice people :-)

I already paid for the uhaul at off the grid feed and outfitters drop the uhaul off at windy hill food mart and he charged me 304.00 when I didnt rent uhaul from him just dropped it off so it was a horrible experience would not recommend windy hill food mart for anything I dont see how he could evwn come up or think I owe that much to just drop it off and taking out 304 dollars on top of the 80 that was taken out rwallu messwd my account up and my money I dont know if I will even ever use a uhaul conpany again and he wouldnt do anything to help me besides told me to call uhaul which they have yet to call me back horrible horrible horrible experience have always used uhaul and never had a problem till now and probably wont use them ever again

Customer service is horrible at uhaul

This was the singular worst experience I've ever had in dozens of uhaul moves. First I was told to pick up my uhaul at a location very close to the venue we would be loading at. I had spoken with the location and they said they had the equipment available and would inspect our vehicle for towing. Later the location was moved by uhaul 30 minutes away into the mountains, where I was to pick up a 20' truck and 4 wheel auto transport. The staff were incompetent, could not help us set up the auto transport or ensure correct connection. Additionally, they had to check out customers of the gas station while going through my contract which resulted a check out process that took well over an hour, without any assistance to ensure our safety. We repeatedly explained we were late and needed to leave, and the staff member struggled to speak English and read the entire contract to us. A terrible experience and I will be looking elsewhere for future moving equipment rentals.

Clerk must have handled 15 or more retail store customers during my drop off transaction. It took 40 minutes! It got to the point where I told him, "I have to go- it's taking to long." He was trying, but regular store business - cigarettes, gas, lottery tickets was unending...
