Everything was as it should be, Good people!!
THOMAS YDealing with Roy was the best customer experience I’ve ever had. He makes me regret using the App to reserve trucks and not going through him. Next move, we will for sure be reaching back out to him.
Jorge FThe only problem was the roof laked and got some of my boxes of stuff wet
David HI called the Fruit & Vegetable Market the day before to verify a pick up time. When I arrived and was given the truck keys I asked the women waiting on me (the owners wife) if the 2 dolleys and 24 moving pads that were part of our order, were in the truck? She said that she didn't know. So I opened the back of truck and it was empty. When I asked her where the items were, she literally threw up her hands and as she walked away from me said, "I don't know this isn't my job". I then frustrated, said in a calm voice, this is bulls__t. Which I admit was a bad choice of words. She immediately turned around and charged at me stopping about 2 feet away screaming at me. As I tried to defend myself and ask her why she screaming at me when they're the ones who weren't doing their job, her husband (the owner) ran across the parking lot screaming at me and threatening to assault me. He got right up in my face and after threatening to assault me several more times, told me to take the truck and get off of his property before he beat my ass. As I turned around to walk to the truck, he continued to threaten to assault me and called me a faggot. He never once asked me what the problem was, he just continued to verbally assault me. While I regret not having voiced my frustration with a better choice of words or in a better way, there was no excuse for their behavior. I'm a 64 year old man that drove from south Florida to north Georgia to help a friend move to Florida and just wanted to pick up the truck and go about my way. The last thing I wanted to do, was to get into an argument or be threatened with assault while having homophobic slurs hurled at me. I have never had a business treat like this in my life. I had to drive to another Uhaul facility in Blairsville, Ga to pick up the missing dolleys and moving pads. This Uhaul facilities staff was very helpful and pleasant. I explained my situation and they supplied me with the dolleys and moving pads. The Uhaul area manager Kevin called me after he heard about what happened. After talking to both parties, he did apologize to me for what happened and discounted my bill.
