The spill kit is great to carry in your car/truck, boat, plane, off road vehicle or any vehicle that could have an unexpected oil spill. The Spill Kit contains: 1lb. bag of oil eating microbe absorbent (enough to clean up a 4 quart oil spill), 2 oil absorbent pads, 2 paper wipes, 1 pair of gloves, 1 recovery bag. The pads are 15”x18” with a perforation line at the midpoint of the pad, so they can easily be folded to double the thickness or divided into two small pieces by hand. They are constructed out of polypropylene and are “oil only”/“hydrophobic”.
Microbes naturally convert oil and other petroleum products into harmless carbon dioxide and water. The microbes are non-toxic and non pathogenetic. The absorbent is non-leaching; once it absorbs a spill it will not release it back into the environment.

Will this work to remove motor oil from car carpet
Hi Eric. I am sure this will absorb the oil but I'm sure the carpet would need cleared once used. I hope that helps!
