1. Prep Underbody

Prior to installing the hitch, the underbody will need to be prepped. Start by removing the driver-side panel. On the passenger side, remove the existing mud flap and exhaust hanger.

2. Raise Hitch into Position

Now that the underbody has been prepped, raise the hitch into position. Line up the attachment points of the hitch into the appropriate location of the vehicle’s frame.

3. Install Hardware

With the hitch in its proper position install the given hardware into the 3 attachment points. Install conical toothed washers on each side of the vehicle.

4. Tighten and Torque Hitch

Tighten and torque all bolts down according to the manufacturer's specification using the torque wrench with the 5” extension and 19mm socket.

5. Re-install Underbody Panels and Exhaust Hanger

Finally, we will re-install the previously removed portions of the underbody including the exhaust hanger. The underbody panel will need to be trimmed prior to re-installing.
