Find the Best Movers 

You’ll enter the address(es) of where you need Moving Help®, as well as the date and time of day that works best for you. A list of local Moving Help Service Providers near you will appear, and you’ll be able to quickly compare labor prices, overall ratings, and customer reviews. Before you decide who to schedule with, double check that they provide any specialty services you may need, like safe or piano moving.

Schedule Your Movers

Once you select your Service Provider, you’ll enter additional details about the job. This includes what time of day you would like the crew to arrive, the size of your home or apartment, the number of flights of stairs, and any additional information necessary to ensure your providers are prepared for your move.

Prior to moving day, you can expect your providers to contact you to confirm their arrival time and ask any additional questions they may have.

Moving Day

On the big day, make sure you have finished packing everything and are ready for the arrival of your Moving Helpers®. After sharing your game plan with your crew, they’ll be loading the truck in no time. Feel free to let the experts take over, or you're welcome to stick around and direct your providers when needed.

Because your Moving Help Service Provider is paid based on time requested, they’re available to you even if they finish the job early. In that case, you can ask them to help you out with a variety of tasks around the house, from furniture assembly to light cleaning. Their job is to make moving day as painless as possible.

Complete the Payment

When your Service Providers have finished the job, you’ll show them the secure payment code you received during the online booking process. Your payment code can be found on your receipt, in your confirmation email, or accessed through your customer account.

The best part about the payment code is that your Service Providers don’t get paid until you’re satisfied with their work. Once you pay for your moving services, U-Haul will hold the funds until your Moving Helper® enters the payment code. This gives you additional peace of mind, as well as motivates your providers to do the best job possible.

After payment is received, a review link will be sent to your email. Your review will help other customers select the perfect provider for their move.
