What Size Truck Do I Need?
This depends entirely on the size of your move. A 10' or 15' foot moving truck rental might be enough for a studio or 1-bedroom apartment move. A larger, well furnished apartment might call for a larger truck, however.

Can I Hire Labor Only?

Do Moving Helpers Drive the Truck?
No. Moving Helpers cannot drive your moving truck rental. They are only permitted to load/unload your moving vehicle.
How Far in Advance Should I Book?
If you're renting a moving truck, it's best to book at least several days in advance, if not a week or more. If possible, try to book your rental on a weekday (Sunday through Thursday) for even better availability and lower rates.
Moving Helpers are available on the same day in many metros. Most customers book a day or two in advance, however, to ensure the best Moving Helpers for the job are available on their moving day.
What if My Lease Dates Don't Align?
If you have gaps between your move-out and move-in dates, consider renting a self-storage unit. U-Haul storage units are month to month, so even if you only need storage for a couple of weeks, you won't be tied into a long-term contract.
