At one point, my indoor storage unit had water leaking into it from the roof. The staff quickly alerted me. There was no damage to my contents. The second time this happened the leak was worse and I did have minor damage but to nothing valuable. However, I asked to be moved to a new unit. They accommodated on the spot and the staff moved all my contents right away. That was great customer service!

Even though I clicked yes throughout this review I am still not completely happy with U-Haul because from the very beginning when I got the unit the price regularly went up so high that I had to seek other storage, which I found and it's 3x's bigger and $30.00 cheaper. So even though it was clean and everyone was friendly, the cost is not now nor will it ever be acceptable.

Robert T | Overall ExperienceIt was a stressful experience having to drive from Chicago to CT and then unloading my things and then returning the truck. However, the staff at Plainville , CT UHAUL made it so much better! They were friendly and got me a storage unit quickly. I had a tough time maneuvering the truck around to unload and Bobby, an employee saw that I needed help jumped in and helped me park the truck so that it would be easy for me to unload! He was a life-saver! By the way, the storage units are immaculately clean! Everyone at the Plainville UHAUL were super helpful from beginning to end! The owner is also a big advocate for animals & birds and while I was there, she rescued an injured hawk. I would definitely recommend this place for your needs because of the personal attention, communication and professionalism. Thank you!

If they are struggling with a customer and if the managers are around the managers should stay and help the trainee and take care of the customer hundred percent. The staff are acting like they are underpaid, there's lack of motivation to help the customers or each other. I'm happy with the facilities though, just the onboarding experience was below average. I probably wouldn't recommend to my friends.
