Everything was fine until I got to my assigned storage unit. It has a lock on it and I called the office to inform. The person who answered was the same person that assisted me with check-in. He came to the unit and witnessed the lock on my assigned unit. He said the previous renter locked the unit after checking out. He then told me he'll be back, but after waiting 20 minutes and he did not return, I called the office. The female that answered provided no explanation why no one returned to help me, but she did say my new unit is 1837. A moment later, the cleaning lady showed up and assisted me in getting situated with my new assigned unit.

It was a mini emergency that I needed a suit for a meeting the next day and had to go purchase a new wardrobe. Other than that it was great. I was under the impression I had 24hr access to the unit.

TIFFANY K | Online Move InI was a loyal customer at this U-Haul facility for four years and never missed a single payment. Unfortunately, my experience ended poorly. When I arrived to move out, I discovered that the facility has a serious pest problem, as my belongings were covered in rat droppings. I vacated on my bill due date (the 22nd) due to military orders, but the General Manager was completely unwilling to work with me. Instead of offering understanding, they charged me for a full additional month. It is clear that this business values profit over sanitation and treating long-term customers with respect.

At first I was told I would be given a different lock, then I was told that I had to use that type of lock. Then I was shown how the lock could work if I held the door pushed up on its hinges. Then I was given a different unit while others tried to determine what was wrong with the unit (door not level). Much time wasted.
