We were given the run around at every point in our experience. I booked a uhaul self storage unit which was supposed to give me a month free and upon arriving at the location they told me they were bought out the night before. Yet I was still able to book on your website. I called, I was told the month free didn’t apply to that location, yet my email and your website said different. I spent 2 hours on the phone also trying to switch the location of my drop off and was told I couldn’t. Eventually I got to another person who was able to switch it for me to a Uhaul location for storage and change my drop off to the same place, this location was an hour away. I was told there were 3 units that would fit my need. Upon arrival I found out they hadn’t switched my unit rental reservation as told on the phone and I had to deal with that whole ordeal. Additionally the first unit they gave me was full of stuff- not empty, then the staff were giving me the run around and trying to get me into a unit with a huge pillar in it. I was eventually given a unit that fit my needs but right at the final hour as they were closing. This meant I had to drop my trailer off and go through the self return process which was very stressful.

My biggest issue is that trying to get a person to help with U-Haul is hard! Once you do get a person they are extremely helpful and all the staff is kind and helpful but there is a big push for electronic everything. Use the app, check in remotely, and it feels very bait and switch. Advertised one price, try to collect a different one. Glitchy app and need a person and it’s one person for a huge site and they are also expected to be outside doing things. If I hadn’t intentionally found a person I would have overpaid not once but twice. Also the movers that were found to help me was suppose to be 2 people and only one guy showed up. No hand truck, no moving equipment so I ended up being the second person. Very unhappy about that.

Management didn’t even say a thing or offered an apology. I was told that CCTV was not available. Please be careful in dealing with this particular location.
