Strong winds blew down trees, downed power lines, damaged buildings and homes, and flipped cars as it tore through Ottawa and Gatineau. As many as 30 people were injured.
“Many people are now dealing with the damage and devastation,” U-Haul Company of Western Quebec president Claude Boucher said. “As a caring member of these communities, we want to make sure they have a secure place to store their belongings during the recovery process.”
