Reuse and recycle moving boxes to create great art

Cardboard Sculptures by Bartek Elsner

I know that after the last time I moved I had a stack of flattened moving boxes a mile high.  In past blog posts, we have given you some practical tips for reusing and recycling boxes after your move. Now, it is time for some fun and creative ways to reuse your moving supplies.

Sculpture: Great art can be created with almost any medium. Bartek Elsner is one artist who uses cardboard as one of his chosen mediums. You may not be able to create things as detailed as the tree you see above, but with a little bit of creativity you can come up with a masterpiece of your own. See more of Bartek’s creations here: bartek-elsner.de

Lights:  Who would have thought that used boxes can cast beautiful shadows on your walls? You can find some great lights created with salvaged boxes here: graypants.com
