When it comes to storage, you’ve either got it or you don’t. If you live in a small space, it can sometimes seem that the only way to free up space is to get rid of some of your worldly possessions. Luckily, that’s simply not true. With a little creativity and the right furniture, you can turn your apartment, office, or other small space into an efficient one with ample storage. Below are some of my favorite tips for maximizing storage in small spaces.

Use EVERY space. Most people will think to place shelves at eye-level, or within arm’s reach. Always remember, a big component of effective space maximization is planning. With the proper planning, you can integrate the tips above and enjoy your living space without the extra clutter. Take some time to map out the different options for your space. Experiment in your brainstorming with a mixture of shelving, cabinets, and high and low options. Don’t make a move until you’ve found the right solution for you!
