Fall is officially here, which means bringing out the fall decorations and the pumpkin spice scented candles! Add a little extra spice this season by trying this DIY cardboard craft.
Materials needed for this craft:
- Rope
- Cardboard Box
- Box Cutter
- Leaves or any other Fall decor you’d like to use
- Hot Glue and Glue Gun
- Scissors
Step 1:
Reuse an old cardboard box from moving day and use the box cutter to cut out whatever message you want the letters to spell. Feel free to make the letters as thick or tall as you want.
Step 2:
Once you have cut out the letters, start cutting pieces of rope to glue onto your letters.
Step 3:
Glue on the pieces of rope using the hot glue gun. In this specific example, the twine was glued diagonally onto the letters. Glue on the leaves as well. We chose to decorate every other letter with rope to make it more fun.
Step 4:
Trim off the excess leaf material from the letters to give the letters shape. Also cut off any rope that might be hanging off the edges.
Step 5:
