Moving boxes come in all unique shapes and sizes. To help determine which box you will end up using, you first need to assess what you have and how much of it. Ask yourself the following questions:

- What kinds of shapes are your items?
- Are any of your items fragile?
Extra-large moving boxes are suitable for light items such as blankets. But just because it is an extra-large box does not mean it has to be stuffed to the brim with heavy items. If you have a plethora of boxes that you need to pack into your moving truck, make sure to rent a dolly to help you easily transport the boxes from your home to the truck in fewer trips.
